I was quite impressed with Embiid's mobility. Expected a little more Oden in his step. Wish him the best but I'm skeptical he can continue to stay healthy.

May be the best 12mpg player ever.

Nearly an Oden-esque injury on that sequence .

He should have been the #1 pick in his draft class, I hope this isn't just some temporary galore by Embiid, I'm excited to see him develop.

Yeah and he was the clear-cut #1 leading up to the draft and before his injury. Even after the injury they nabbed him at 3. Worth the risk. I remember that year it was all Wiggins and then towards the end it was so obvious that Embiid was the better talent and the no doubt #1 pick.

Yeah. That's cause for at least a little concern.

Latest highlight from yesterday
Monster game. 12 min restriction
11pts 12reb 1blk 1stl

Dare I say it, shaq lite in terms of presence...only difference is he went 7/8 with his FT's as he has great shooting stroke, his elevation is slowly returning as well. If he never got injured, he would be incredible

I really hope Embiid can stay healthy. It would be a damn shame to see his career ended early on. I'm pretty firm in my belief that he'd be one of, if not the best center in the league right now if he hadn't been injured his first two years. He looks like a freaking monster out there.

Wiggins has had two very good years. Embiid hasn't done near enough to call him a better talent or no doubt #1

All those foot injuries are going to catch up to him eventually.

Man Embiid is legit, once his jumper is more consistent, he's gonna be a force. Simmons, Saric, and Embiid will be a great trio for Philly

yea he does look like a better prospect crazily enough. We forget he was pretty much the #1 ranked dude before his injuries.

he looks like a freak, man. He's out here crossing dudes. And then the putback dunk, sheesh. And he's nice in the post. And the defense on John Wall, lol.

Hope he stays healthy because he would be very very fun to watch

Good lord. Wonder how long the minutes restriction is going to last.. Hopefully not all year, I'd love to see what kind of numbers he puts up in 30 minutes a night..

If he wasn't hurt he was the clearcut #1 in 2014. Not even close.

Dude would be on his way to being the next Tim Duncan (or really close) right now, I firmly believe that.

Yeah. Damn you Philly...though his health remains a big question mark still.

His health will always be a factor, best not to get your heartbroken midway through the season.

Even Oden had a year of relative health.

SO let's see how Embiid is doing health wise throughout the next 3 years before calling him Shaq/hakeem.

Embiid looks like an all star, but I wouldn't count on him staying healthy. Yao was a star as well but his career didn't last long. Bigs with bad feet usually don't have long careers.

Wiggins has shown some potential, but he still needs quite a bit of improvement to be anything more than a middle-of-the-pack SF/SG. If Embidd stays healthy, he looks to be an MVP level player

Wiggins was a 20 ppg scorer in his 2nd year on 46% field goal percentage.

That's more than just "some potential" imo.
