Great offer... they'll probably sell your name to make up the loss. Frankly they can't recoup full advertising fees as the magazine is selling for less than 50% (Starch & ABC rules). Unless they circumvent these audit rules with special advertising contracts, they won't get the usual per-issue credit from the advertisers on the total circulation.

I subscribed last week and they said the first issue would be sent only after 6-8 weeks.

But hey, it's still a steal at $0.81 for 8 issues. I'm paying $1 PER ISSUE!

I can't find Dime in any store. I've checked grocery stores, Barnes and Nobles, etc. I want to read Kobe's article real bad.
