I think that given the lack of shooting bigs, having the non screening big near the basket is fine - but they need to learn that every inch makes a difference in spacing. On the baseline relocation (around 2 min mark), the difference between Nance toeing the baseline and Randle rumbling across the lane is pretty huge in terms of congestion.

I'd rather them play a lineup that didn't have two poor shooting bigs, but if they're going to you're probably right. IMO this action is best against switches and hedges and recovers, although I dislike how many bodies are down low. Not my favorite action that we run.
Lakers got taken to school in how their offense and defense should look. Tonight should be another lesson. In the long run I think it'll be good for us to get beat up by big brother. It highlights how much work we need to do.

I used to destroy my younger brother when we played basketball in the backyard (I have many years on him). I went off to college, and a few years later, he starts lapping me basketball wise. Years later not even close.
Hope that will be our next Lakers team. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

Precisely mon frère!
Now all I want to do is play on his team and feed him the ball. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals
One of the things that makes the Warriors so lethal in this offense is that not only do the motion and screens force the defense to rotate/switch, they also have a number of guys who combine effective pump fakes to get a defender already in motion to close/spring which opens the drive and dish. Obviously that starts with Curry, KD and Klay (man that's nuts). Eventually I could see Jordan, DLO and BI leveraging that in a similar fashion. _________________ Austin Reaves keeps his game tight, like Kobe Bryant on game night.
