also: he's never gonna wear the suit is he?
Not in this timeline, no. This is supposed to be his final X-men movie. I'll go see it, looks like the best wolverine movie so far.
*****MILD SPOILERS BELOW******
It's loosely based on the Old Man Logan series (set in a post apocalyptic future where all the mutants/superhero's are dead), he's at the end of his life and his healing powers are fading. The militarized looking thugs are the Reavers, a classic x-men foe and they appear to be tracking Wolvie and the little girl, presumably X-23 who is a female, 2 clawed clone of Wolverine.
Thanks for that international link, jb. That shot of Logan uppercutting the bald dude with his claws out was the most brutal thing he's ever done in any film so far.
I wasn't a fan of the 1st , like most everyone. The second was a little better, but still not my cup of tea. This one just looks way better all around. _________________ "Dread it, run from it... destiny arrives all the same."

I really liked the first one. Must've watched it 50x within month's span. But thats only because I was going through a tough break up and I felt like I could relate to Logan (plot twist ending).

The opening montage was awesome. The rest of the film didn't follow suit although it wasn't horrible IMO.
Old Man Logan is a pretty... interesting story to say the least. Surprised that they went with that one.
What's the story behind his finally aging?
Hugh Jackman got old in real life.
Seriously though, it will be interesting how they explain Logan aging so much especially since Professor X is still alive in this movie. It's not like they can say 100 years have passed. Heck, Logan hardly aged at all during the opening montage of the his first movie, which spanned decades.

Thanks Josh, that's what I figured. Have you seen the memes with Logan and X-23 from this trailer and the main characters from the Last of Us?

Yeah, his advanced aging compared to Professor X's is what triggered my question. _________________ We back.
I think it looks pretty good. I hated the first Wolverine movie, and the second one was just OK, hopefully this one will be great. I'm unfamiliar with the comic this is one based on...but it looks interesting.
