The new era begins on Wednesday, Im expecting Luke to bring out a hungry Lakers team.
FYI.. others can do the other game threads for the rest of the games. |

I always liked D'antoni and wish it could have worked out between the fans. That being said go Lakers.
Rockets have been playing well during preseason. Obviously key is to contain harden in the pick and roll. And someone has to be stuck to Anderson the whole game he has no problem shooting from Curry range.
This game will be up and down and I think that helps the Lakers a lot. |

If Luke allows Lou to be on Harden for even one possession I might assassinate my TV |

No Beverley, my prediction is that Russell will have a field day with whoever is guarding him, which will probably be Gordon. |

Will be epic if he gets 40 points. |

I actually don't look forward to it. *cringe*
Prediction: The rotations likely won't change and the Rockets score 44 in the first quarter. Lakers bench makes a run and brings them back to within 7 late game, but it will be a matter of too little, too late. Then in the post game, Luke ponders why the opposition is getting off to fast starts. |

Hopefully Deng is well rested for Wednesday, I wonder if Luke puts him on Harden? It seemed like Luke didn't try using Deng during PS cause he knows what he's gonna get. |

Is Gary Payton back with the Lakers or is he involved with the Lakers team?

Is Houston the highest scoring team in the pre-season? Good test for the Lakers D. Not too optimistic though. I hope Lakers can hold them to under 120 points. _________________ LeGoat! LeMazing! LeGend! |

If he starts Lou and Randle together were going to get killed. I have to see who Luke starts first before I make my prediction. |

But would Clarkson actually get enough touches with this line-up? _________________ “There is always light if only we're brave enough to see it, if only we're brave enough to be it.” --Amanda Gorman |

The Rockets are a D'antoni team so we'll have a puncher's chance. if Harden goes off it will be a long night for us. |

Again just mentioning that I won't be tracking the game thread standings this season, anyone else wants the job? _________________

When he said "find another team" he doomed himself. The fans will always outlast the coach. |

Let, Harden go for 40, Lakers should focus on shutting down Gordon and Anderson if we do that we win. Harden reminds me of 2006 Kobe he will put up 35-40 point games but his team will lose in the process while having a chance to sneak into the playoffs, I'm not being a homer when I say that the Lakers have a good chance to win against Houston. |
