Source: Dodgers are "looking hard" at the lefty reliever market. Justin Wilson, Zach Britton, Brad Hand all on their radar. |

And Kike with two home runs. Continues to just destroy lefties. 7 doubles, 9 homeruns (after today), ops+ 146 (before today). Just over 100 PA's.
On the season, he has 42 hits...29 of which are XBH (18 doubles, 1 triple, 10 homers). |

The schedulers are so dumb. They schedule a night game in Chicago and then the Dodgers have to fly home for a game in LA tomorrow night. They should have a least scheduled a day game today. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.

Imagine if Trayce can pick it back up. Recovering from a broken back is no joke. If he can come even close to what he was last year, we'd have a very nice platoon in center. |

Pablo Sandoval returning to the giants. I guess you can go home again.
If Trayce starts raking, would that mean that Verdugo won't see much when he gets the September call-up? Assuming he doesn't get traded... which I hope he doesn't. |

Joe Davis and Nomar just gave it a good shot.
Joe: This team is an absolute joy to watch.
Nomar: Because it's the little things.
Joe: Yeah, it's the little things, AND they've hit four home runs.

And then they go score 4 more runs without a homer. This team does it all. |

At this point I don't think trading for offense is necessary. We have so many solid contributors already. Just shore up the bullpen, maybe add a starter if possible, and let's do this! _________________ |

Yeah. Trade a couple of pieces that aren't close to bigs but still high-value for Britton and maybe another power arm and let's go win it all. |

If we can get away with that. I feel like teams are tougher in negotiations with the Dodgers because they know we have assets. Look at the JD martinez trade. The d-backs traded nothing prospects (but still top ranked in their "farm") for a coveted power bat. To make that same trade, the Tigers likely would have wanted some combo of Verdugo/Calhoun/Buehler and who knows what else. Hell, it wasn't that long ago the Phillies were asking for Pederson, Urias, AND Seager to make a trade for Hamels. At the end of the day, he was basically traded for a bunch of junk

It really is becoming historic.
To be this many games above .500 is a Dodger record or no? _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

Yesterday they said we were 36 over for the first time since 74 I believe. And that was at the end of the season. _________________ |

They know we have assets. They know our FO are limp-dicks at the negotiating table. _________________ http://media.giphy.com/media/zNyBPu5hEFpu/giphy.gif

Over teh course of the season, you'd have to go back to the Brooklyn Dodgers. However, up to this point in the season (94 games in) it's not even close. We're 36 games over .500 this early. To put it into perspective, we could go .500 the rest of the way and still end up with 98 wins. We're on 111 win pace... Since going to 162 game season in 1965, the Dodgers have only cracked 100 wins once with 102 in 1974.

Just hope that they aren't peaking too early....
Remember teams that usually win it all play their best baseball in September and October. |

So, on the Dodgers reddit, they got into this weird battle of videos with the D-Backs sub a few weeks back. The D-Bags posted some celine dion play of the game video (prematurely), and our posters countered with one of our own after we came back to win. Since then, some poster has made a celine dion play of the game video after every win. Coincidentally, we've gone 27-4 since this has started.
