I think we're going to go with Utley against righties in the postseason and Forsythe vs. lefties. Taylor is now the full-time CF, it looks like. LF is open for whomever were to get hot. (Grandy, Joc, Ethier, heck, even someone else.) Belly is the full-time 1B, and Gonzo is out of that equation. |
That was the right move. Maybe DH if the Dodgers get there? |
Also notice that the last two games where Granderson was not in the line up we won! _________________ R.I.P. Doc Buss |

I found my Baezball so let his healing begin! (Also has Matt Kemp and Kenley Jansen's sigs) https://i.imgur.com/LITjMVX.jpg
I hope he can at least get some confidence back as a garbage time reliever. That might be useful in the postseason if we get a big lead and need some innings eaten. And I'll always support a player who did something nice for me when I attend games. That includes Kershaw (who's sig I posted and got featured on the Jumbotron), Puig, Ryu, Jansen, Kemp, Gordon, Utley, Seager, Bellinger, Turner, and even now Rich Hill, who gave me handfuls of bubblegum. Roidal however was a douchebag to me and plenty of fans including kids. _________________ http://media.giphy.com/media/zNyBPu5hEFpu/giphy.gif

Yu was great last night. I think he finally solved the mechanics problems he's been working on.
I hope we got all the losing out of our system and go on a good winstreak headed into the post season. |

Showing encouraging signs, but they're still not quite all the way back yet. They're still leaving too many men on base, especially in scoring position. They've made some blunders that they will need to clean up. And their pitching is spotty. But they've got some building momentum heading into a very important series with the Nationals with home field advantage still very much up for grabs. |

Nationals are going to be a huge test. It'll boil down to the same ole' recipe. Just need to get hot at the right time. Cleveland could go blazing into the playoffs but can just as likely fizzle out. _________________ KOBE |

Dodgers up 7-0 in the 3rd inning....hopefully, Dodgers will be taking out their frustrations against these teams and solidify the home field advantage from Cleveland. |

I prefer Joe Davis call. As far as I'm concerned they can scrap Charlie Steiner. |

Agreed, new team new attitude. I prefer new blood on broadcast team as well. Let's retire Charlie and Rick Monday already, their voice just sound so depressing even when team winning games. |

Charley Steiner is genuinely awful, and he's even worse on the radio. You have absolutely no idea what is happening based on his description. At least you can see it on TV lol. The sense I get is that he doesn't see very well and has trouble describing things in a timely manner, as a result. I mean, I'm sure Vin didn't see as well in his later years, but I refuse to compare a legend like him to Steiner.
Joe Davis is outstanding. Let's hope he's the announcer for many decades. |

Looks like we can get a nice little streak going. Maybe take it into post season which would be perfect! |

Getting out of the funk against the Giants and then taking care of business against the second best team in NL. I'll take it. Looks like the Dodgers are firing on all cylinders again. |

We'll see what happens when we face solid pitching again. Neither EJ or Cole will be on the Nats postseason roster, i bet |

Verlander is killing it. Wanted him so bad, i figured he'd have another second-half renaissance. |

Out of the country so I can't get the stream to work for the game. Damn.
How is Ryu looking? I know the score is 1-0 but that doesn't really tell me about the performance. |

Struggled with the pitch count, but otherwise matched Strasburg. Relieved by Stripling the bottom of the fifth with runners at 1st and 2nd with two outs. Whew, dodged a bullet there with Werth's sharply driven ball at left field foul-line. Called foul before/after review. _________________ Character

Looked at the schedule and Angels are playing the Indians for the next 3 games....they could help themselves and the Dodgers in the process. |

Philly's with a grand slam off Kersh in the bottom of the 6th. First of his career. 2.27 era and yet I can confidently say he's looked off all year. |
