It turned out to be pretty good. Now will Roberts bring in Kenley when we get to bottom 9 and we are still up by 3?

Always liked Watson when he was with the pirates.

Time to close out the game and bring out the brooms....no need to extend this series past 4 games.

They show more of the sad Cubs fans than the actual game.

The Cubbies look weary and downtrodden, and perhaps reality is starting to set in for them.

We probably would've gotten the same outcome had we played the Nationals in the NLCS but this is much, much sweeter beating the team that stopped us dead in our tracks last year.

I guess we're going to go with Morrow even up 6-1. He's pitched in every postseason game. I would go to Fields here, personally, but I guess Morrow hasn't been throwing many pitches.

I think the Nationals had the better team, and I think this was the outcome that was most beneficial for us. I mean, Dusty probably would've done something to screw the Nats even if they were playing us toe-to-toe LOL, but yeah, I think the better team lost that series.

Washington had 2 starting pitchers that are better than anyone on the Cubs. Nationals bullpen and offense can't be any worse than what we've seen from the Cubs in this series (at least so far).

Not just beating them but embarrassing them if the Dodgers can close this thing out soon.

Nice to have the rare night where Kenley gets to rest. I'd pitch him next game, even if we're up 10 runs.

He has the nerve to wag his finger at Puig, when we're dominating them like this?

The ball hits the wall it's not too much to expect to reach second. Baez is such a tool.

Come on Stripling, don't make us have to use Jansen tonight, please.

Too late. He's already warming up.
