yeah, she doesn't check the "likes sports" box.

Shame our win streak is over, hopefully we will get back to winning ways tonight.

Losing stream over!

Maeda looked solid. 7 innings, 6 SO and no walks.

Morrow continues to look solid. I'm skeptical that it will last, and he's been oft-injured, but who knows, maybe we'll catch lightning in a bottle for 2017.

Terrible defense last night. A real shame because Grandal tied the game with a HR in the 9th. Errors by Taylor and Grandal cost us the game.

Usually too late too watch, except on Sundays, where 1:10 PM PT is 9:10 PM over here, so generally get to watch those.

Utley is unbelievable. What he has given us so far this season exceeds expectations.

Love him. He's awesome and a great presence for the youngsters.

Nice to put up some runs again. We were making the Angels staff look like the mid 90s Braves.

Our bullpen is trying to ruin this game.

It's a shame Kenley had to come in this game. Now it's a 4 out save.

I am not expecting any big mid season trades by the Dodgers but I really hope they will find L relief to replace Avilan. No way do I count on him come playoff time. Only other L relief is Dayton.

Morrow could have gotten thru the 8th if it wasn't for that one hit batter. Still, another good outing by Morrow.

Yeah, and Dayton isn't exactly lights-out, either.

Kenley may have come in for 4 outs tonight, but I think he threw about 10 pitches. He really made a way-too-hittable 0-2 pitch with the bases loaded there, but got away with it. In fact, all over baseball, I'm seeing way too many hittable 0-2 pitches. When I grew up, you would almost never see pitchers throwing strikes on 0-2 counts. Now, I feel like it's commonplace.

Anyway...yes, Kenley is unreal.

I continue to be surprised at Utley's presence on this team. He's essentially the un-Moneyball kind of player. Brings it in the locker room and clutch moments but doesn't have the kind of stats that sabermetrics looks for. I guess he's cheap so maybe that's why our moron FO is still keeping him around. Still love having him here as a fellow Bruin and I hope he can win a ring here for his hometown team.

I like 3-run and 4-run homers.

Wood is looking legit. Let's hope he stays healthy. Honeycutt is a master.

Doc freaking Roberts ladies and gentlemen.

By far our best manager of men since Tommy!

Continues to push all the right buttons at all the right times and tonight showing some serious big boy pants!

Sticking up for his boy Woody and channeling his inner Lasorda by putting Andy Green in check.

Speaking of Woody, what in the wide world of sports has gotten into Alex freaking Wood this year?!

Love it!

Word! I've been in a holding pattern with Wood but after tonight I'm all in. He's our #2. Straight up. Loved the dog In him.

Now if the Dodgers could only get rid of Hatcher and Romo, we would be in better shape! lol

Bellinger was invited to the HR contest. He's waiting to see if his Dad can pitch to him. I would rather him not participate personally.

Nah, this FO continues to re-sign Hatcher for some reason. Romo is a late bloomer in the season so hopefully he rights the ship as always in the time we need him (For the last 3 years: Pre-AllStar ERA: 4.65, Post All-Star: 1.89).

Wood was terrific on the braves and was killing it for us before he got injured last year. (albeit, with some struggles prior.) Honeycutt fixed his delivery a bit, upping his K-rate dramatically, and now he is finally healthy and able to put it to use. i've been high on him and was pleased when we snagged him from the Braves. Glad he is showing what he's got.
