Rather pointless to worry about holding on to homefield advantage now when it's increasingly doubtful if this team can even get out of the NLDS. |

Yeah I'm just waiting for them to do what they do so I can focus on Football and the Lakers season |

Dave Roberts is really stubborn with Baez. I hope management steps in and doesn't allow his inclusion on the postseason roster. |

Dave Roberts is the Hillary Clinton of baseball managers. Should have won, but ran a (bleep) up/incompetent campaign in the end. #dodgers |

Right now I'd say the blame is like 80/20 for the front office. |
How so? Front office doesn't affect the clubhouse when the momentum swings from near all-time record setting pace to dumpster fire in the midst of a season. It's on the manager, coaches, and players. _________________ Character

So this month they've lost series to bottom feeding teams like the Padres and Phillies and got swept at home against the Rockies and D'Backs, two playoff bound teams. Not a good sign for the playoffs. |

Indians look like they are on their way to beating the Angels again...so it will only be a matter of time before they overtake us for best record and have home field for the entire playoffs. |

Roberts is so petrified of losing another game he is bringing in Kenley for another 4 out save. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Magic number is 1. Arizona is at home vs. Miami tomorrow. The game is at 6:40pm. We are at home vs. Giants tomorrow. The game starts at 7:10pm. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Bullpen goes last 6 innings relieving Maeda of his doody...
Baez and Stripling weren't involved.
We won.

Pretty sad that we are relieved they won a game from the Phillies. 9 games left, 6 against teams that aren't going to the postseason. Gotta get some positive momentum for the playoffs, looks like home field is in jeopardy. |

3 innings for Maeda. How is our starting pitching so bad? _________________ R.I.P. Doc Buss |

They are prepping him for a long-relief role. For all intents and purposes, yesterday was a bullpen game. |

The long term plan is to rest the pitchers for the playoffs. That was the priority all along. Its too bad they probably sacrificed home field advantage for the World Series if they get that far. |

Home field advantage in the World Series is determined by who won the All-Star Game... |
Nope. Home field is best record this year. |

I still have the Dodgers as NL favorites. Unless, of course, my Cards get that 2nd WC spot. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

It would be a shame if they didn't clinch on Tommy Lasorda's 90th birthday tonight. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |
