Just an FYI in case that's not the full script they showed on PTI.

the commercial is in black and white it seems. it looks pretty raw. there are clips of kobe in the gym lifting weights and shooting shots. thats all i remember cause they only showed a couple clips.

Around the Horn and PTI both showed clips and read excerpts.

Both are re-aired on ESPNews the following hour (2 minutes from now).

So if anyone missed them and has a TV handy, switch to ESPNews if you
wanna catch the convo.

From my memory... (Around the Horn anyhow)...

Blackistone: Loves Kobe's ad because it's truthful advertising, since Kobe
is a player people tend to love or hate to extremes.

Smith: Loves the ad and was very animated about how much he loves
it... seemed the most positive of the three guys left, liked the truthfulness
but also that it shows Kobe fighting against the odds, etc.

Mariotti: Thinks it makes Kobe look like he "doesn't have world perspective,"
because it implies that "we should hate or love a basketball player when
there are terrorists out there," etc. WTF?!?!

Oh and then Blackistone called Mariotti a "hater"

Everyone just BUSTED out laughing when Blackistone called him out on it. Mariotti sounded like a hater putting up a defense. LOVED IT!!!

just saw the commercial. it is hot...real cool .must have been filmed awhile ago since i saw he has a lot of hair in the pics. also do not know if anyone noticed hne was rockin the huarache 2k5 shooting and not the zoom kobe 1.....othewise it is hott!!! still like the sprite better though!!!!
