I think they should have killed Abraham as the season finale of Season 6. Let fans process that.
Then at the beginning of season 7 show them it wasn't done and kill Glenn. |
I agreed with this and mentioned this to someone else who told me why it wouldn't work.
If Abraham died at the end of 6 fans would complain that all that buildup to have it be Abraham, who isn't that big of a character, and that they should have done Glenn like in the comics but the writers were too scared. Then if Glenn died in season 7 opener they would say that the writers caved in to fan pressure.
I think it could have worked that way but this is a reasonable explanation as to why they didn't do it that way. |

He's the only character on the show about whom I don't feel that way. _________________ "All wars are civil wars, because all men are brothers."

Lol. You want the bad guy to win? Funny thing is on the talking dead the actor who plays negan doesn't consider negan to be a bad guy at all |

If you're out west you shouldn't be on here yet, likely meaningless spoiler...
K.E. is already a favorite and may rise to the top of my list. If nothing else, I'm blown away that he just formally addressed a herd of walkers with words of hope. I don't know his story, don't care to but this guy is cool. |

I couldn't decide whether to turn the episode off or turn up the volume and lean forward in interest. In the end I just watched it, not really knowing how I felt. A fantasy character with a pet tiger. After the Glenn episode. Only TWD would do something like this. _________________ A banana is killed every time a terrible thread or post is made. You have it backwards. Glenn should have been killed at the end of season 6. Everyone already knew he was going to die. Then you kill Abraham at the start of season 7. |

Just finished ep2.
Rick's group's story arc has taken a really dark turn lately and even Rick seems to have lost his grip on humanity. Now with Negan in the picture it appears that things are going to be getting worse.
Which is why I really like the introduction of Ezekiel and the Kingdom as it brings a little hope and balance to the show. He's genuinely a good person. That said he's a "realist" as he put it and he's a bad ass which kinda makes him the character we all hoped Morgan would turn out to be. |

I love the Ezekial character.
I love that he's not some crazy guy, but some guy that feels an overwhelming sense of responsibility to provide leadership and hope to people.
And having a tiger is pretty cool too.
I can see Morgan being important in getting Alexandria and The Kingdom working together. Then add Maggie and Hilltop.
Negan's forces are stronger than any of the others, but is he stronger than ALL the others combined? Well... maybe. At least for as long as Negan has more of the better weapons. But that can change. |

Andrew Lincoln did say this season would be more like Lord of the Rings. Cavalry charges anyone? |

i love the fact that Ezekiel was an actor.. and the first we see him..he's on stage in what appears to be a high school theater or community theater.. TWD directors are always good at the subtle nuances.
great to have Chloe Bennet on talking dead.. she is amazing. can we get her on the show? |

That has to be sarcasm imo. TWD literally beats the audience upside the head when it tries to make a point or *ahem* "develop" character. Borderline network TV. |

Well that would be possibly giving away spoilers so can't answer that. All I can say is the Kingdom does exist in the comic. |
