imo, Kawhi deserves MVP over both Westbrook and Harden, and is the only MVP candidate that does it on BOTH ends of the court.

There is a narrative spell that most fans fall under that's hard to break ... Harden and Westbrook are both having pretty incredible seasons, but neither of them plays defense within miles of Kawhi's level of play, and neither of them plays with Kawhi's level of efficiency. Specifically, their scoring efficiency and turnovers are poor and atrocious compared to Kawhi's comparable numbers, respectively.

BUT ... most fans overweight production on the offensive end of the court anyway. I don't think Kawhi will win, but in a system that didn't constrain his game, he might be a 30 - 8 - 6 player at this point in his career, to go along with his DPOY effort at the other end of the court. That's (bleep) bananas. As it stands, he's a 26 - 6 - 4 player, which obviously isn't as eye-catching as a 32 - 11 - 11 player or a 29 - 8 - 11 player, even one on a team winning much less.

Popovich's system costs him AT LEAST four points, two boards and two assists a game with the (bleep) ridiculous substitution patterns, the capitulations at the end of games, and the minutes regulation. Anyone who thinks otherwise just isn't paying attention. For a while, a lot of bright basketball minds argued that Popovich's system actually helped Kawhi's game. That wasn't the case then, and it's certainly not the case now.

Anyway, he'll probably finish 3rd in the R/S MVP race, 3rd in the DPOY race, and 1st team All NBA and 1st team All NBA Defense. For the 15th pick in an average draft, given his accumulation of previous accolades, that's pretty (bleep) remarkable ... over these past two seasons, his hardware collection is projected to include: 2nd place finish in R/S MVP race (2016), 3rd place finish in R/S MVP race (2017*), 1st team All NBA (2016 and 2017*), 1st team All NBA Defense (2016 and 2017*), DPOY (2016) and 3rd place finish in DPOY race (2017*). And he's still 25 years old ...

(bleep) incredible, really ...

If I had a vote I would vote for Kawhi there's no question.

Paul had you made that FT in the 1st OT we would've won this game.

But they played a lot better than I expected vs the Cavs taking them to 2OTs is no easy task.

I watched that entire game. They ended it with Mills checking Westbrook and it wasn't Leonard's best game offensively either. When you say what he did to Westbrook, what are you referring to?

Wizards

Game clock not equal to shot clock, and these guys are asking for the white-flag.

Despite the lopsided score, the game was actually closer for a good chunk of the 4th. It was mostly the Warriors unloading an avalanche on the Wizards, then it being a coast to coast blow out.

Just realized why the Cavs are performing below expectations...they've been infected by one of the Kardashians.....
Look at Harden, he's Kardashian free and having an MVP season and his team is performing above expectations after a tumultuous year prior.

Always a great night when the salty AF clowns in the TD Garden crowd get their asses handed to them by LeBron James. One of these days, fans in arenas around the country will learn to shut the (bleep) up when that guy comes to town. These loud-mouthed douchebags all went time-sharing on the "soft" narrative for so many years, they now just don't know how to stop themselves from hurting their own team by taunting him.

It just ends in heartache and humiliation. Take your "L", Boston ... you earned it.

Steph with 23 points and 5 triples in the 1Q vs. the Suns.

Notice any difference between Steve Kerr's coaching decisions and Gregg Popovich's when it comes to leaving star players on the floor in meaningless end-of-season games that have no possibility of affecting the standings ... ? If not, here's an example ... Curry played 12 minutes in the 1Q vs. the Suns, while we saw Kawhi on the court for 14 minutes total in our win over the Spurs tonight.

According to a Harden interview in SI, Harden does feel that same way that you do.

Does anyone with a fully functioning brain expect the Celtics to beat the Cavs in the playoffs in a 7 game series with this roster they have? Definitely not. Don't forget that the Celtics were the team that was standing between him and the NBA Finals for a couple of years so he has something extra special for the fans in Beantown.

Al Horford, nice return to Atlanta this season ...

Three games ... less than seven points per game on 32% shooting, less than six boards ... one win, two losses ... 2016/17 salary: $26,540,100 ... (bleep) bum.

The Atlanta Hawks rest their starting five against the Cavs in Cleveland and absolutely smoke them. Lebron went for over 40 but still couldn't pull out the win. On a side note damn does he look more and more like Shaq every day? His free throw stroke is even getting to look like Shaq's..

Booker dropped 37... he is really impressive... if only the Lakers made the right decision and drafted him.

Atlanta just made a historic comeback against the Cavs in the 4th quarter today. Not a good weekend for Cleveland in that series.

Up 14 with 3 minutes and some change to go. Down 24 at the start of the 4th. Bron played 45 minutes in regulation to no avail. Wow. I think they're running on fumes. We saw it with the Shaq/Kobe Lakers after the 3 peat. We saw it with the Kobe/Pau squads. Dead legs man...

The Pacers escaped vs the Sixers. Now they have to beat the Hawks to make the playoffs. At least the game is at home.

I'm trying to watch this "Histórico" final last game at the Palace of Auburn Hills. But it's hellz boring. I find the Eastern conference to be quite boring. (I don't know why Siri went for the Spanish version of historic but I'm rolling with it...)

The Eastern Conference is boring now more interesting in the 90s though.

Now its LeBron vs Field and we unfortunately know who wins that one.

That being said I will not miss the Palace of Auburn Hills I hope it burns.
