I'm sure the FO loves Fox and really like JJ...but I have a hard time seeing Magic passing up someone that reminds him of him for his 1st major player acquisition.
And I do believe that the Lakers getting the #2 while giving Boston the #1 was planned out by Silver to ensure we got Ball and Boston was taken care of as well with Fultz or Jackson. I think it would be a mistake to pass on Ball because he is a special player that makes everyone around him better.
I'd hate to see him thrive in Philly playing alongside Embiid and Simmons while we constantly criticize Jackson's poor shooting.

Yeah Nate Duncan and Danny Leroux crapped on him as well. Not saying he's not talented but I just think Lonzo and Ingram have higher ceilings than him. I mean imagine them at 20 going against college competition...BBQ chicken lol. Also I'd rather not deal with the off court issues, major red flag IMO...

I would say,,, worse than Lavar Ball.
NBA wouldn't suspend Lonzo for his dads actions.

Magic seeing Lonzo play in person has been well documented. The thing that's not mentioned regarding Jackson is that Magic didn't go see him play even though Jackson played Michigan State in the tournament. Magic is their most prominent alum and is always at a game or two, and he didn't use that opportunity to see Jackson. Of course he might have been busy or just didn't want to see his school get crushed as Kansas was a heavy favorite.

Even with Lavar's constant pressure, Lonzo rises way above expectations and doesn't get in his head.
If he is screaming at her and kicking a few thousand dollars of damages in to a girls car door in public, who knows what could happen when he eventually snaps in private.

that is where I would put it....50% Ball....and 50% the field....at worse, 60% Ball and 40% the field
