Despite not looking too good today, I could see Ball doing well in Luke's system |

Magic is there watching this game plus his idiot dad talking about being better than Jordan or Curry. Just not a good look when you see other lotto players like Fox and Monk |

I don't see how he will fit with DLO rather have either Monk or Fox just watching this game. |
For real. He is like Rondo, great passer with a fatal offensive limitation. |
Wait, who is Rondo in this comparison? Fox can not from outside to save his life. |

I'm watching Fox/Monk go at it with Ball....Ball arguably more talented than Fox...but not being aggressive. ..this is the damn Sweet 16...Fox is taking it personal and going at dude...Ball is a stat stuffer...tons of talent. ...but where is his kill mode switch? Red flag much? _________________ True Laker fan from the state of Michigan! adkindo wrote: | cant judge Ball on this single game | this is the only full game I've seen him play. But really, his iso game just isn't there. You can definitely see the IQ and suoer-elite passing, but he can't really break the defense down to fully utilize the passing skills. I think he'd be a great off-ball guard, but you can't run your offense through him. His handle is nothing special, and his athleticism is pedestrian. You can't run your offense through a guard like that. I'd still take him third, but Fultz and Jackson I think are a notch above him.
He's a shooting guard with fantastic passing skill, great IQ, average athleticism, average handle.

He's done a pretty good job in several other games this season where he's taken over in the 2nd half to lead a comeback. _________________ LBJ + AD = More rings

Fox looks damn fast though, kinda impressed. I can see why he was projected top 3 before the season. |

I don't see how he will fit with DLO rather have either Monk or Fox just watching this game. | If we get the second pick I think you have to think hard about taking Jackson over Ball. He's good but his iso game is really non-existent, and he's not strong in the screen game, so.. |
I don't think it's even a thought anymore.
Top 3 - Fultz, Jackson, Tatum
Ball just played himself out of the Top 3 |

Ball has a good jumper though... I wanna see them run some set plays to get him open for the 3 |

I have concern about his 'ceiling'.
Realistically, what can he evolve? His shot is wreck, he has NO driving game at all, and he doesn't finish well.
Are we going to use a top 3 pick to draft someone who runs the fastbreak well and makes great swing passes in half court? |

At what point does Lavar Ball rush to half court and threaten to beat up Kentucky's team if his son's team doesnt win? _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Not confident to conclude that he has a good jumper. When he is off, he is WAY off. |

Regardless of his game tonight I still like Ball. I have softened to him that is for sure. I was always a Fultz guy anyway though, and I still think Fultz goes #1. |

yeah Ball is a shooting guard with excellent passing, average athleticism and handle imo. Which is still a really good player if his jumper translates. A fantastic role player. I still think I'd take him third. |

AFTER this game though? It's certainly a possibility. Add the LaVar element (remember how Lamar went downhill after the Kardashian distraction?), and I think his stock may have fallen. |

You will take a fantastic role player with the 3rd pick?
I would rather roll the dice with Tatum or Jackson. Even if they don't turn out as superstars, but the tier of Derozan, that's still way better than a glorified Rubio. |
