Broussard gets a lot of flack and rightfully so, but I think he is on point here. The Lakers in all likelihood won't be a playoff team, but at least they have a team with three or four young guys who have star potential and definitely Russell and Ingram then a treadmill team that isn't good enough to win it all, but not bad enough to get a high enough of pick to get some of Russell or Ingram's ceiling and potential. He says the Lakers just looked a lot better and more exciting and like they were enjoying themselves and playing as a team and the potential is through the roof.
Not only the players, but this is now a team that FAs will likely come to b/c of the head coach. You can tell he will play a very player-friendly system. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

Ala Horford to the Cs... we do have a max slot. Just saying if this squad is at the door of playoff

We went from a place where no top FA would want to play under Byron's system to Luke who will be an interesting FA destination IMO. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals
Yeah, I've been noticing a LOT of shade being thrown at Kobe over last nights win. People would rather point to Kobe as being the main problem instead of the guy that has the worst coaching record in NBA history.

Eh. It was true the KFT was a major hindrance. But it's a bit of stating the obvious.
Doesn't hurt Kobe's long-term legacy at all. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

There are two major reasons the national sports media are being so snarky and demanding nobody over react to the first game....the Warriors lost and the Lakers won. I am not saying either mean anything, but if the Warriors won and the Lakers got beat by almost 30 points, the "hot takes" would be rolling.
Does Stephen A still think we messed up taking DLo over Okafor
I know he's returning from injury, but Oak's stats yesterday: 8pt / 3rb / 0ast / 1blk / 3TO in 15 minutes.
He looks absolutely depressed that Embiid is the unquestioned center and alpha of that team. Wouldn't be surprised if he asked for a trade out. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals
I just don't get the hate Kobe is still receiving. He is retired, give the man a break. He won 5 championships, so he proved himself. Even in winning, people still blame him.
Obvious Kobe slight is obvious. Do these morons forget that he won 5 titles playing the right way or are they just that stupid _________________ "Bryant has been the second best player in the NBA for over a decade, but the number 1 player changes every other year. probably. Funny listening to Max and SAS. Max has become somewhat of a Lakers homer, whereas SAS keeps saying "i'm gonna be nice", then he makes smartass comments and still says what he was gonna say anyway. The truth is somewhere in the middle.
Jim isn't his dad and we did luck into keeping our picks, but our draft has been handled brilliantly. Jim has done alot right and made mistakes. SAS is a jackass though, he acts like his opinion is gospel or something...annoying AF.

He played dumb both times Max mentioned taking Oak over DLo would've been a mistake.
