Nick was our best player today. |
When Nick Young is your best player, then you are a 60+ loss level team. |
Yeah. And that's why we're predicted to win 24 games. |

Terrible loss. It's ok for our young guys to get outplayed but Luke's rotations were equally atrocious.

Have to realize this is going to take some time to develop. It'll be worth it though |

Guys, this is going to take a while. None of the young guys show consistency. Our starters especially Deng have played really badly. Young is there but his shooting percentage says he's the same Nick Young. His defense is better though, probably our best defender.
Coach Luke, still hasn't found the right group of guys hard to tell if they are in a slump or not. Remember this is essentially the third game the starters have all played together.
There is some improvement we are there in almost every game. But, where we begin to fade is when we make a mistake. Like a turnover or selfish play.JC is a big big problem with selfish play. DLO with turnovers.
Luke has to get on JC for playing selfishly.

Metta should never play. Hes a joke thats not even funny.
Moz not playing at the end of games every game is not all that great. We dont have to do everything that GSW do.
JC needs to really improve the other aspects of his game. If hes not scoring, he doesnt do much. _________________ Llluuukkkeee |

Don't understand why Luke stayed small with Adams and kantor in the lineup for OKC. We got killed on the boards. Should've gone with Mozgov. |

Many bright spots for the Lakers today, like the chemistry between Russell & Randle, but the team's still making a ton of mistakes. The 4 min Calderon stint when the Lakers missed a ton of open 3's really hurt (-12), but we had a chance when we cut the lead to 4 with 4:30 or so left.
Hopefully Clarkson gets his mojo back before the road trip's over - feels like he's over-dribbling and forcing his shot too much. I also wouldn't mind getting a look at how T-Rob (or even Zubac) could handle post-up bigs like Kanter, since Nance couldn't do much and Black only did slightly better. |

Overall a pretty good team effort. We don't have any all-stars but the team plays hard and they play together.
So far we are slowly getting better. Not perfect but definitely improving. It's a process and it is moving forward. One-step-at-a-time. |

Kevin Durant and Westbrook's first season together resulted in a 23-59 record. We're not going to win games with the power of friendship. _________________ Austin Reaves

We're getting a ton of open shots, just missing them.
Also we handed OKC a big size advantage at the 5 position, so they could lob on us all night and out rebound us badly, yet no dividends on the other end of the floor.
Film room time for these guys. |

Getting uncontested shots is encouraging. Missing a lot sucks, but it's a process. _________________ LeBron, AD, & _________. Stay tuned.
