Just released by Celtics... Lakers should waive Peace, Robinson, and Yi and sign this guy, way more potential...

We need guard that can defend more than we need a forward but BB is quite intriguing as a potential prospect..

We'd have to have Rick Fox do an exorcism or something...

He would be a TREMENDOUS fit for us. Perfect for Luke's system. I have always loved his game. He was forced to play the 5 in college as the Friars had no height. He did get pushed around on the defensive end, but I do not see that problem at the 4. Offensively, he is more skilled than ANY of our 4's. He has a great inside outside game. Can hit the 3 and has good wheels and handles. He is a potential matchup nightmare as defenders have to make a choice whether to play him high or not. His release is high and his shot is tough to block. Best of all, he hits his free throws.

So basically the Celtics gave up Bentil for Ryan Kelly?

I think I read that bentil didn't wanna go to the d-league and they just waived kelly and it looks like he'll go to the red claws

Bentil refused to go to Maine Red Claws. Ryan will be cut and assigned to Maine Red Claws.

You are right anpherknee. Atlanta does not have a D league team, and the word over here is that Kelly was told he would be going to the D league before his signing.

I hope Bentil gets locked up somewhere. He gave up 2 years of eligibility to enter the draft.

0 defense.

Ben is actually a better than average defender, especially if he plays the 4. He was undersized playing the 5 last year.
