That would suck, if you mean the Lakers, cause our schedule is gonna get softer from here on out.

Tomorrow is a must WIN.

Lmao. There are no must wins in the 22nd game of an 82 game season.

It is if you are a unproven team, we have no idea how the Lakers are gonna do when it matters and I'm talking about the stretch run if we are in position to make the playoffs, we need any win we can get.

If every game is a must win, then no games are must win.

A must win means something happens if you don't win. So what happens if we don't win? Besides a loss of course.

Technically there are no must wins at all. I mean it's just basketball, no one will kill themselves just because a team lost a game.

I don't know, have you heard Karl-Anthony Towns lately? His post-game interviews are bleak.

The thing that annoys me the most about toronto is that the last few years they keep seeming like the real deal but then when it becomes time for playoffs and they're up against the cavaliers they suck so hard

They're pretenders. They remind me of the '08-'10 Jazz. They had no real shot against Kobe & the Lakers. Same with the Raps and LeBron & the Cavs.

I hope I'm wrong but I doubt it.

On top of that, they still haven't gone all in. You can't expect to win a title that way. Cleveland traded the #1 pick in Wiggins for Love. Maxed TT. Traded for Frye. Now signed JR Smith for a big contract. What has Toronto done?

I don't know if it is all because of the injuries but a bunch of the Lakers have seemed to come back down to earth and some of these games are getting out of hand quickly now.

The offense looks really ugly when these guys aren't bombing from all over the court like earlier in the season.

The phrase is used within the context of basketball though, not life. Its ridiculous to say a win in game 22 of an 82 game season is a must win. You have 60 games to go.

Absolutely. This isn't a good team right now without a starting backcourt. And especially with Calderon filling in for either one of DLO/Young. Randle's assist game is suffering now because he has no one to pass to in the starting lineup now, and he's also easier to cover as a result.

But this is a competent team when healthy. I'm not holding their feet to the fire to compete for the playoffs, but after 20 games of relatively healthy play, if they get their guys back, they can hover around 35-40 wins.

Forget offense for a second, is layup line on the defensive end.

Happens when you play Lou/calderon and Clarkson heavy mins

"Lunacy" is a good word for what the fans will have to endure this year. This team is inconsistent. One day they look good and the next they look bad. They keep giving us hope only to quickly snatch it away. I have to keep reminding myself that the Lakers have exceeded all expectations so far this season.

LOL.

Lakers have been without there top player for 7 games and likely more. and the team still hasn't found a way for Deng to step up.

This team can easily make a run if there healthy and other players step up...

The defense has been horrible all year. It just gets overlooked because they've been outscoring teams.

if we stay healthy, I think we scrap the bottom of the barrel and just make it.

That being said, if we end up the 9th or 10th seed, I won't be disappointed. That means we still overachieved.

I personally believe that every year. I've seen teams turnaround inexplicably, so I always hope "this is the year." Then again, it's no different than saying "it's going to rain today" and saying it every day until it rains. LOL!

It's because of the injuries. Russell and Young played a big part in our offense.

I think we will have a solid record, but will fall short of playoffs. Gotta pray that the lottery god will give us a top 3

Better to pray that they draft well with a mid-1st in 2018.

I prefer Yong's prayers. If you are going to pray, you should make it for a miracle that counts.

Then I pray we win a title, can't get more miracle than that.

I was thinking about that the other day. Playing the "what if" game, imagine of Cleveland had drafted Embiid as I thought they should have. Then traded him to Minny for Love, and Minny ended up with Embiid and Towns. I am glad that never happened.

Same. Now those hopes are for the 8th seed. Right now I have us finishing right where we are in the 9th seed. Hopefully we can catch a team ahead of us and stay ahead of the teams behind us (Kings, Nuggets, Pelicans)

Grizzlies have a hard schedule coming up. Like very tough. There might be a spot opening up in the standings. We need to win tonight tho.

Yup, not a must win today. Either we're 11-11 or 10-12.

It'd be very nice to get a win vs. Memphis..
