After seeing them get blown out by the Lakers tonight, it seems like they're actually weaker than last year. Losing Bogut and Ezeli really seems to have impacted them defensively whereas Durant doesn't have the offensive impact I thought he would.

I'm going to say 63.

They lost in LA pretty much the same way last year. After an emotional win over OKC, the W's came out flat as though they could flip a switch, and it never happened. They shot 4-30 last year in losing to the Lakers, and 5-32 this year. Thompson is in the worst shooting slump he's ever had, but it is hard to say why. He is getting open looks from 3. He is getting plenty of shots. Curry has been okay, but deferring a lot, it seems, to get KD and other new guys integrated. Of course, Curry just couldn't shoot tonight. The W's are getting outscored from 3 this year, yet they are still 4-2, so I'd say that is the offensive difference KD makes.

I think the W's will be worse in the regular season, but stronger in the playoffs. The small lineup was their closing lineup last year. The only difference is they are replacing Barnes with Durant. Durant is a much better defender on his man, and he is much better at blocking shots and rebounding than Barnes.

I wouldn't draw any conclusions from this game.

They are one injury away from real problems because they lost their depth. Especially Kay, Green and Pachulia if one of those guys miss a lot of time the losses could start piling up. They are already a step down defensively and rebounding wise. Also Igoudala seems to have taken a step back.

Some people saw it coming way before, *bow*. This Warriors team doesn't scare me. They are worse than I even thought they'd be. That said, it's a process for them. It takes time (even years) to build the chemistry, the defensive rotations, etc. Even on offense, the Splashes can't be what they used to be either. In the back of their minds, they know they can't take 25 shots each. They need to feed that skinny loser dweeb.

I'd say about 58 as currently constituted. However, I would expect them to push the panic button and make some kind of trade for a defensive big man.

61 games. Mike Brown on the sidelines will probably lead to disappointment again when it counts.

I think they'll start out weak but go on a 10-15 game win streak at the end of the season. 51 games (similar to lakers 2011-2012)

They're clearly worse than last year. This isn't a chemistry issue. They just added ONE MORE PLAYER. The core of last year's team: Steph, Klay and Draymond, are still there.

This team has significant inside paint issues. Zaza isn't Bogut lite. That's going to be an issue for them all year.

My prediction is that they'll win between 58-61 games. They'll have their act together come playoff time

55 wins for GS. They are weaker defensively and they avoided injuries last year. Someone is eventually going to get hurt and miss significant time by playing so many minutes. The Spurs and a healthy Clippers team could beat them in a series because of their bigs.

Klay Thompson will start to hit his open shots eventually and teams can win 60+ games in the regular season with great offense and bad defense (see the Dallas and Phoenix teams with Nash).

I say 61-65.

Replacing Luke Walton with Mike Brown is like replacing prime Kobe with Nick Young.

Is Walton actually better than Kerr?

Considering they missed like 25 open 3s vs the Lakers, and Curry/Klay have been awful to start the year it's safe to say they are not worse than last year. THey are just missing shots. Curry and Klay are missing wide open spot up 3s..last year Curry was making contested 29 footers..funny how things change.

No bench and lack of size. Plus potential chemistry issues with Durant there now.
