We have a chance to be 4-3 after Sunday night but sleeping on the Suns will haunt us since they have shooters + bigs who can protect the rim.

DLO gonna bring Booker back to reality.

Looking to see if Randle can have another big game. Although we might need more size this game as this team is bigger than GS.

Would love to see Zubac get some playing time here as he might be needed.

All three of our wins have come against playoff caliber teams against Houston, Atlanta, and Golden State. Luke mentioned this though, which I agree with; we can't play down to anyone. Even if we may be the better team, we have to stay hungry, don't treat this like a given win.

This is exactly what I've been saying and why our next few games are huge!

lol I get what you're saying, but I doubt the Lakers can play "down" to anyone, since we're considered to be one of the "down" teams of the NBA. Talented, true, but not much in the way of expectations. Every night, this young team is going to have to play "up" to their possible potential, in order to compete, and give themselves a chance to win. I believe Luke reminds them of this, and they know it themselves. Go Lakers!!!!!!

After starting the season 0-4, Suns have won their last two against the Blazers & Pelicans (which both went to OT). Booker, Bledsoe, and Warren have been playing well for them.

Lakers have a chance of getting a 3 game win streak - which they did once last season (@ BOS 12/30, vs PHI 1/1, vs PHX 1/3). Suns had just 1 3-game streak as well early last season (vs LAC 11/12, vs DEN 11/14, vs LAL 11/16).

Hopefully Lakers can win this game - would go a long way in establishing a winning culture, since good teams should win games like these against lower tier competition, especially at home. Hopefully we don't have a letdown from our big GSW win. It'd be real nice to win these next two home games to get a 5-3 record before another 3 game road trip

The Lakers had a long practice Sat. as they turned the page to Phoenix. Luke Walton admits he thinks they might come out flat tomorrow.

Although its just the 7th game of the the season, this game feels important. Good winning teams beat teams like the Suns at home and string together winning streaks. Are these young guys ready to do that, or will they have a let down?
