Randle was awful a part from the first quarter. I think some of theses dudes needed a reality check honestly. They came out a little too cocky. Gotta be focus and agressive.

6 to's from Julius. His head wasn't in the game tonight.

The whole team was out of it, couldn't play through the whistles/lack of whistles tonight.

Gotta regroup!

Games like this are good for development. They have been getting wins in games where they turned the ball over a lot and played shaky defense. Teams were just missing open shots and making unforced turnovers and the Lakers didn't have to learn from the mistakes.

The starters should come in earlier in the 4th in my opinion, especially in a game like this.

Considering our luck in recent years, I'm not sure what to expect.

Not having Nance was the difference maker IMO.

Dallas controlled the pace. Carlisle knows his team can't sustain a high/fast pace game so he did the smart thing and slowed it down.

We couldn't adjust and control the game like we've been doing. Good learning experience.

Only saw the 4th quarter but was Curry getting wide open shots or something? Saw he had 20 off the bench.

Hopefully his return re-energizes the team.

Yeah. The 3 point defense has been very shoddy this year despite the fact that opponents were shooting like 27% coming into this game. He's one of the first guys to make the open shots the Lakers gave.

He got good looks. And the Mavs team hit their open 3's. Slow pace really favored them as the Lakers never really got a good rhythm after the 1st when the bench came in. The Calderon entry basically was the point where the game's momentum shifted to the Mavs and we were out of sorts trying to find ourselves the rest of the way.

Jim Carrey is a fantastic coach and schooled Luke today. One of the most underrated coaches in the league.

Luke lost us this game. Metta and Calderon should never see the court.

Honestly I hate that Metta is on this roster. I'd rather have an open spot for some D-Leaguer tearing it up.

Lakers were down 2 when MWP extra-bricked the 3 then we were down 4 when he went out of control to make a dumb shot inside the paint.

That's how you destroy any chance of winning, and the team couldn't gain enough to overcome it.

I don't mind losing this game since I rather see games like this ..8 games into the season as opposed to game 40 even if we aren't gonna make the playoffs.

Good points. Hopefully more energy and better execution next game.
