Smush gives McKie an opportunity to heal completely.

Mckie is a dangerous 3 point shooter and a very good defender. He's not as good as other point guards out there, but he's certainly better than Vujacic. Also being an 11 year veteran has a bit of an advantage.

Is that you Aaron?

Doing nothing but earning $2.5 mil !! Congrats.

Mckie would be valuable if he could shoot still, anyonw know if he can still do that well? And help not implode down the strech of games, i think that was our plan when we signed him too close out games with kobe in the backcourt..

Even if he's ready Phil normally doesn't play the veteran guards a whole lot until the second half. Remember Brian Shaw? He's the other guy everyone said had lost it until game 7 against the Blazers. Then he came out firing in the 4th quarter when most people @ Staples were ready to burn their yellow shirts. Next thing I remember was Snaq quoting a line from The Warriors.....Can You Dig It.....

I may be the only one who saw another potential, in McKie... I saw a guy who worked in sync, with Kobe. It looked like McKie could be one of those guards, who could help instigate the triangle, and keep the team working together. The rest of the team would have to accept Aaron, in the role of an "on-court general", for short stretches.
