He supposedly sent her private part pics. Of all the things I want released to the public, that's not one of them. |
OMG, tell me we aren't going to have pics of that circulating on the internet. There are apparently nude photos of FLOTUS from her modeling days circulating but at least she is attractive. _________________ “There is always light if only we're brave enough to see it, if only we're brave enough to be it.” --Amanda Gorman |

Those nude pics don't reveal much. GQ's not like Playboy or Penthouse. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

I was too young, I missed the dirty magazine generation. Historians will refer to the time period of my puberty as the "Girls Gone Wild stare at the free preview because you don't have your own credit card" generation. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

i was exactly two years old when Reagan left office but it still baffles me that either in real time or in retrospect he is hailed and revered so highly. i feel like with Clinton (the first president i remember) the economy was on steroids which i do think lends people to excuse things, but american society still conservative enough and the affair salacious enough where it was captivating.
someone above said i can't believe a pornstar is suing the president of the United States i wanted to post the exact same thing its pretty astounding and shows how desensitized we've become where these things are minor blips on the radar. i do enjoy watching the party of family values sit there trying to excuse this (bleep).
at least Reagan was a good actor and had a moral compass (barring getting AIDS patients adequate treatment funding appropriate public health message), unlike reality tv "star" trump. this guy couldn't fake empathy or humor if his life depended on it.
how much lower can we go? i'd imagine it's going to get a lot worse. trevor noah, seth meyer, colbert, john oliver provide me with a proper reprieve from all the crap |

Trump has destroyed all norms and prerequisites for holding office.
It's why I think Michelle Obama should run in 2020. In 2008, she was too politically incorrect. But Trump has killed that worry.
We've already asked so much from that family. But our country needs people who understand the everyday struggle of Americans. And she would destroy Trump (which is the most important qualification in my book).
I think it would be tougher to convince Michelle to run than it would be for her to actually win the election. She is infinitely more qualified for the position than Trump. And in some polls she's more liked than Barack (who has favorability numbers that dwarf Trump's).
I'll vote Dem no matter who wins the primary. Not because I'm a party loyalist. But because I know whoever makes it out of the primary will have their policy vetted so strongly, they'll be a muuuuuch better alternative to Trump. But my preference is Michelle and Gavin Newsom in that order.
I'm confident either of those candidates could secure a win. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”

I'll smile, no, I'll LOL every time a Trump enabler is brought to bear. The faces of Kellyanne Conway and Sarah Huckabee Sanders make me nauseous. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

It's a long read but I thought this was a really interesting article and timely given certain stakeholders once again seem to want to blame video games for school shootings:
Yelling at “scumbags”—inside the White House’s last gaming violence summit
It basically tells the story of how after Sandy Hook, Biden held a meeting with members of the video game industry and approached it ready to take them to task about how irresponsible they were for promoting violent games that would lead to incidents like Sandy Hook. However, he sat down with an aide and went over all the data available and it completely changed his mind.
It makes me long for the days when logic, reason, research, data and dare I say...facts, actually meant something to our government leaders. The fact that he listened and probed into a subject to actually understand it and was willing to revise his preconception is...well, let's just say I can't see that happening under the current administration.
Quote: | I think he and his staff at least walked into the briefing with me with many of the same misconceptions [about video game violence] that are not based on research.” |
Quote: | As the outgoing senior adviser for digital media at the time, it was Steinkuehler’s job to help organize the White House meeting with the game industry that Biden requested. It was also her job to present him with the existing research on the topic and to convince the vice president that, no, these industry executives were not the “scumbags” that she remembers him saying they were. |
Quote: | What was supposed to be a five-minute pre-meeting briefing turned into a 45-minute discussion of all the research that shows playing violent video games doesn’t actually materially lead to more violent outcomes later in life, Steinkuehler says. The vice president went in skeptical, asking questions on everything from the sources of the data to the strength of the statistical correlations to rankings of other effect variables on youth violence, she says. By the end of this briefing, Steinkuehler says she had convinced the vice president that "we have quite a bit of data that shows that this is not a substantive relationship."
While Steinkuehler "would love to tell you it was my persuasive powers” that won the day, she said it was more that Biden simply kept an open mind toward the data. “He tends to be a person who says, 'We should not be afraid of facts. Facts are our friends, and you're on the wrong side of history if you're on the wrong side of facts,’” she told Ars.
“I really feel like Vice President Biden was drilling in,” recalled Mark DeLoura, a game industry veteran who succeeded Steinkuehler in the White House’s digital media advisor role. DeLoura also attended the meeting between Biden and the game industry. “I don't think he's a super big game player, so he was drilling in to learn more.” |

As has been pointed out many times, video games are played around the world in countries that don't have anything remotely approaching the kind of mass shooting/gun-violence problem we do here in the U.S. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

If they charge us 15% we'll charge them 15%, if they charge us 25% we'll charge them 25% and so on. If you don't understand tariffs his speech made it sound as though we're going to win. I know very little about how tariffs work. I don't think it's as simple as Trump makes it.
The little I know leads me to believe if we charge them more the consumer will have to pay for the increase. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

You should have watched the entire interview. Her answers to his questions gave rise to just how clueless she really is. Her answers on gun control, Charlottesville and others made her look really clueless. She's worse than Donald. LINK This snippet was bad the entire interview revealed just how unqualified she is.
Her answer to is she a Clueless person or a Legally Blond person had me cracking up. Was that a setup?
Side note: Do any think Sanders job is in jeopardy for the answers she gave about Stormy Daniels? She just about threw Teflon Don under the bus. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
