The Congress has the right to investigate whether the President has financial conflicts of interest and might be making international policy decisions based on personal financial gain rather than what's in the best interest of the United States.
And since the Republican controlled congress refuses to perform it's constitutional duty to check and balance the executive branch, then when the Democrats retake the House, they will do the job. I am not nearly as confident as Peter Oberby (author of the link). Trump will obfuscate, and delay, delay, delay. At some point, the Dems might initiate legal action, but this will take time. By the time it would get to the Supreme Court, it might not matter.

Georgia is a Putin state. They let Russia hack their voting machines in 2016 and deleted all the evidence.

He has spent the last 6 hours tweeting about stuff he's watching on Fox News, including:
3 disgusting tweets about Elizabeth Warren where he doubles down on his racist, sexist screed.
2 tweets about "fake Steele dossier" and conspiracy theory about Steele and DOJ teaming up for fake witch hunt to hurt Trump.
1 tweet about Stormy Daniels where he gloats about court case and calls her a horseface and a con (Reminder: he screwed a porn star while his wife was home with his newborn son)
2 tweets taking credit for Obama's economy
1 tweet lying that he has no financial dealings with Saudis or Russians and calls it fake news.
2 tweets about border security - one self-congratulatory for the great job he's doing (kidnapping, detaining and jailing kids is the "great job"); and one threatening the president of Honduras.

I wish we knew if this is actually true. I know they had vulnerabilities that allowed their database to be seen by basic hacking and that they frigging cleaned their data base of all data after the election, and this should scare the fudge out of all of us, but if you don't watch Rachel, I doubt few would know about it. Considering only a small percentage of Americans watch her, too few still know.

Not that they would care even if true. Their side won. Last I checked Maddow has 700k viewers, AC, Cuomo and Don Lemon have about 350k each with probably a lot of overlap. Thats less than 1% of America. More people need to be made aware of how bad it truly is.

I see so many what ifs comparing Obama to Trump. Why? The answers are so obvious. Obama is a Black Man. Trump is a White Racists (My Opinion). What's glossed over is the country is 62.06% White, 77.35%. White Americans (including White Hispanics). I constantly ask myself, how far have we really come?

Even though the country is majority white, let's keep in mind that he lost by 3 million votes, and that the Republicans have lost the popular vote in 6 out of the last 7 elections, and that wouldn't be possible without tens of millions of white voters voting for people like Obama and Hillary.

How do you explain the mood today? Trump opened the closet. So many were hiding. The hidden mood has surfaced. Trump Unleased the Kraken. Evidenced by Charlottesville, Va where Heather Heyer was killed. More such rallies have happened since the election of Trump. I believe the number to be relatively small in comparison to the total population and Trumps actions have cause it to shrink but I don't count it out. I'll not rest easy until Trump is defeated. If he'd defeated I hope the government goes after him full bore.

America is demographically shifting where in 2 decades plus (saw 2040 from some projection), whites will no longer be a majority of the country.
It's the backlash from those who cannot accept this reality.

It's not something I personally fear because I grew up in a multi-cultural area going to multi-cultural schools. So it's hard for me to understand why other white people are so afraid.
And then I saw something on Twitter that made sense. They are afraid that when people of color and women are "in charge" we will treat them as badly as they treated us. They are projecting their own worst flaws and impulses onto everyone else. I don't know anyone who wants to "hurt them back." We just want everyone to be treated equally.

A great number of people call Trump names, know he's a idiot, not qualified to run the country, etc. It make no difference. He's tapped into the underbelly of America. It should not be taken for granted.
When the first returns came in I posted beware. I got responses saying it was early and Trump would not win. I again warn, BEWARE. Don't underestimate Trump and his followers.

Republicans who stand up to Trump should be commended, but I am very skeptical of those who only object to him on style points. Ana Navarro basically worshipped George W Bush, so she can spare me about the high road and what she finds distasteful. Democrats should be careful about their newfound friends on the Right they lend credibility to and quote as some kind of authority.
