I've been reading that Don Jr. could be indicted soon. Possibly as early as tomorrow.

When the dust clears, it's possibly R's only pick up one seat in Senate. And in House, Democratic pick-ups are now at +30 and may go up to near +40.

Yeah, she has. That would be a nice comeback for Sinema.

‘You can’t fire the truth’: Watch massive protests gather around the country to protect Mueller’s probe

Will the protest save Mueller? Trump has shown his disdain for what's right if it blots his agenda. I believe Trump will do what ever's necessary to kill the Mueller investigation. Hopefully Mueller is six steps in front and has a contingency in place.

You protest because it's the right thing to do. You apply pressure and see what happens. Then you apply more pressure.

Remember when it was a sure thing the ACA would be repealed and the GOP controlled the Senate, House and White House? People protested, called, applied pressure, protested again, called again, sent postcards, wrote op-eds. And what happened? It didn't get repealed.

You cannot stop defending Democracy because the other side will never stop attacking it. You defend it no matter what you think the other side is going to do.

I understand the reason for protest. I'm talking about a single case, Trump vs Mueller. Trump don't give a shucky ducky about right and wrong, he's all about his agenda. All the protest in progress won't slow his attack.

Protest didn't stop the repeal of ACA the Republican finally gave up.

On Wednesday, they effectively surrendered.

The day after crushing midterm election losses handed Democrats control of the House, GOP leaders signaled they had no appetite to make another go at shredding the signature accomplishment of Obama’s presidency anytime soon.

No, jodeke. Republicans didn't all the sudden "give up" on ACA repeal of their own accord. They "gave up" because they were under pressure from their voters.

The reason people protest to protect Mueller is to apply pressure on their Congressional Reps and Senators to protect the investigation from Trump's attempt to obstruct justice. What Trump thinks about the protests is irrelevant.

If we would have won in Florida, that would have been just about a perfect night.

Here's a question that I don't know the answer to, so if anyone has any perspective, I'd appreciate it: how significant is it that Gillum gave a concession speech? Is that binding in any way? I'm guessing no, and I'm trying to remember if Gore actually gave a concession speech in 2000 in the immediate aftermath of the election.

EDIT: Yeah, they aren't legally binding.

When the Senate convenes next week, @ChrisCoons and I will ask for unanimous consent to bring S.2644, the Special Counsel Independence and Integrity Act, to a vote on the Senate floor. After the firing of The AG, it is more important than ever to protect the Special Counsel.

Fwiw, as I pointed out election night, the remaining Arizona ballots favor Sinema. She’s now up 9600.

Perhaps a dumb question, but does every proposal have to be approved by the Majority Leader? Can Flake propose an act without consent?

McConnell controls what goes to the floor for a vote. Even asking for unanimous consent involves letting the proposal go to the floor to ask for consent. So every Senator could write a bill protecting Mueller, but if McConnell doesn't let any come to a vote, nothing would happen. Same with Paul Ryan in the House.

I actually think something like this might pass with bi-partisan support. Which is precisely why McConnell won't let it get that far. He has made it clear his allegiance is to protecting Trump.

When asked by the press in the past, McConnell always says he doesn't think a special bill is needed because he doesn't think Trump will fire Mueller (I'm sure his fingers are crossed behind his back when he says it).

As Republicans sit back and watch it happen

Watching and hoping Trump has even more power

The underlings are getting fed enough to keep fighting for GEOTUS

Very strange timing that crazed vet went off dominating the news cycle..

When will citizens rise up and demand something
MUCH STRONGER than Mueller to incarcerate politicians.
We go off on how cops get away with murder of one or two
people yet we have Jared Kushner helping Saudi Arabia with secret intelligence target their enemies ..
We have Infant Internment Camps and nobody can stop him
He is changing Amnesty Laws without consent of the country
*War on Drugs is enough reason to claim amnesty.. we help latin americans live in terror because our country buys all the drugs

Neverending spiral of (bleep) from this administration that is beyond belief

Citizens MUST DEMAND something stronger than Mueller... 2 years now almost... that this has been going on...
Politicians love that this stuff takes forever..
Name ONE department Trump has not nearly destroyed?

When is the next mass murder or death threat on media ..

When is the next FAKE VIDEO going to be endorsed by our PRESIDENT ..
