This is way old (something made me look it up again this morning) but it makes me truly question our efforts against this ISIS

U.S. Shoots Itself In the Foot By Accidentally Arming ISIS
Quote:
According to Reuters, the U.S.-made weaponry that fell into enemy hands including 2,300 Humvee armored vehicles, at least 40 M1A1 main battle tanks, 74,000 machine guns, and as many as 52 M198 howitzer mobile gun systems, plus small arms and ammunition.

Although al-Abadi and other Iraqi and U.S. officials haven’t attached a dollar sign to the lost weaponry and vehicles, a back-of-the-envelope calculation of those losses might look something like this:

2,300 Humvee armored vehicles @ $70,000 per copy. Total: $161 million
40 M1A1 Abram tanks @ $4.3 million per copy. Total: $172 million
52 M198 Howitzer mobile gun systems @ $527,337 per copy. Total: $27.4 million
74,000 Army machine guns @ $4,000 per copy. Total: $296 million

The grand total comes to $656.4 million, but experts say those losses represent just a portion of the many hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of U.S.-supplied military equipment that has fallen into ISIS’s hands and is being used against the U.S. and allied forces on the ground in Iraq and neighboring Syria.

Man, I personally apologize to the US ally Kurds. This is so wrong

Maybe some rogue arms dealer supply the Kurds with a nuclear weapon, just for one-time use. Would they use it on an ally who abandons them, or on a enemy who's planning to wipe them out?

It would be a proximity thing. It's not like anyone can get a nuclear missile, much less have the technology or training to operate one.

Guess US also helped build prisons there for ISIS captures.. Now the Kurds are responsible for their ...safety or what do they do??

11,000 Militants could escape.. no biggie..

Kurdish officials said that guards were still in place at the more than 20 prisons and camps under their control but were prepared to move, raising the possibility that about 11,000 militants and their families could escape.

Betraying the Kurds is similar to when Trump told the Russians about the Israeli spy. Kills global cooperation. Foreign groups won't trust an alliance with us. International intelligence agencies won't trust us with information.

After the Israeli Spy incident the US Govt was forced to remove their top Russian spy from Russia for fear Trump would find a way to reveal the name..................... let that sink in.. and removing Open Skies.. 1.3 trillion dollar budget// trillion dollar trade deficit... thats 2.3 trillion?

Someone finally asked of Trumps Cabinet.. "Why aren't YOU the Whistleblowers?"

I don't recall Mr. Bone-spurs being anywhere at anytime helping the US.

Not only did not helping us not matter to the American people, they rewarded him.

The GOP may be able to shield Trump, but it looks like SDNY is hot on Rudy's trail and I wouldn't be surprised if he's indicted before all this is over. Hard to know if Barr will shield him or help throw him under the bus to protect Trump. Oh what a tangled web. There has never been a bigger nest of vipers outside the Mafia.

2 men with ties to Giuliani arrested on campaign finance charges

The short version: Rudy hired two shady characters with connections to both Trump World and Russia to go to Ukraine and help dig up "dirt" on Biden and along the way they also illegally funneled Russian money into a pro-Trump superpac. The SDNY figured it out and nabbed them at the airport as they were fleeing the country on the same day they were due to be questioned by Congress.

You're welcome.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy also received money from these crooks. No wonder this guy has been gaslighting for Trump.

William P. Barr, the attorney general, met privately Wednesday evening with one of President Trump’s frequent confidantes, Rupert Murdoch, the media mogul whose holdings includes Fox News, which has recently become more critical of the president.

The meeting was held at Mr. Murdoch’s home in New York, according to someone familiar with it. It was unclear if anyone else attended or what was discussed. Aides to both Mr. Murdoch and Mr. Barr declined requests for comment on the meeting.

So...that's normal, right? Nothing sketchy about it at all.

On October 3, 2019, counsel for Parnas and Fruman sent a letter to Congress requesting additional time...and confirming that “Messrs. Parnas and Fruman assisted Mr. Giuliani in connection with his representation of President Trump.”

Couple this with photos with Pence and Trump and Trump Jr. and it will be impossible for Trump to distance himself from these guys.

Before it's over this will go down as the most corrupt administration in US history, worst than Nixon and Watergate by several orders of magnitude.

Here's a screen shot of a Lev Parnas tweet (one of the two just arrested) of his visit to the White House thanking Trump for the great dinner and conversation they just had replete with photos and videos.
