It's like Archie Bunker, Homer Simpson and Tony Soprano had a kid who grew up to be Donald Trump.

Nancy Pelosi needs help fast! There is either something wrong with her “upstairs,” or she just plain doesn’t like our great Country. She had a total meltdown in the White House today. It was very sad to watch. Pray for her, she is a very sick person!

We're dealing with someone that thinks this is a great comeback, to simply repeat what the other person said about him. This is impressive, if you're five years old.

One of his most ingrained gimmicks is to turn a description of himself that irritates him onto the people who are throwing it out. Deranged, unfit, etc, were some of those he used against various Dems. It's the best way to discover what descriptions of him truly stuck in his craw. This is showing that he's consumed in anger (and I love it). However, Trump consumed with anger has its costs.

Pelosi directly to Trump: Russia has always wanted a "foothold in the Middle East" and now it has one.

"All roads with you lead to Putin."

It sounds like quite the back and forth with Trump and Pelosi.

Trump to Pelosi: "I hate ISIS more than you do."

Pelosi to Trump: "You don't know that."

At one point Schumer said, "Is your plan to rely on the Syrians and the Turks?"

Trump: "Our plan is to keep the American people safe"

Pelosi: "That's not a plan. That's a goal."

Sounds like Nancy roughed him up this afternoon at WH. He's going to watch a lot of cable news tonight and tomorrow morning. Expect some crazy tweets.

Maryland Rep. Elijah Cummings has died at the age of 68. Apparently he died overnight at Johns Hopkins Hospital. His office released a statement saying that he died of a long-standing illness, and I'm sure more info will come out in the coming hours.

He had aortic valve heart surgery in May 2017, so I'm guessing it has something to do with heart issues. He apparently had another recent medical procedure, and had said he was only expecting to miss about a week of work. Obviously, he never returned to work, so complications must have occurred after the procedure.

Very shocked at waking up to the Congressman Cummings news. Thoughts and prayers to his family. Congress lost a powerful voice this morning.

One thing that is really sickening in that photo: At the table was ONE woman and a bunch of old white males (as am I). It is not an automatic negative to be an old white male (as am I) as those at the left side at least try to provide representation against the power brokers of our country, as represented by the right side of the table, the true deep state, but c'mon a bunch of old white dudes (as am I) does not look like a representational democracy.

And in that room of elite white men, she was the only person that had the guts to stand up and tell him how foolish he was being and call him on always siding with Russia. I know Schumer and others called him out too, but that fact that she is physically and symbolically standing up to him and pointing at him is priceless.

To fabricate the mats Banksy has teamed up with the organisation 'Love Welcomes' who work with women in detainment camps in Greece. You can make your order by visiting their website here. All proceeds are retained locally to help refugees access key services.

The bit about Banksy wanting to add to the commodification of Jean-Michel Basquiat's street art is cute. Some of his sold paintings. His high is $110 million. Huge commodity by this point. Bansky has a ways to go before reaching that level of commodification by himself.

Things Aren’t Getting Better for 2020’s Most Vulnerable Senate Republicans

Quote:
Five vulnerable Republicans see declines in net approval

Iowa voters soured on Sen. Joni Ernst by 9 points, the biggest slide in net approval for any senator between the second and third quarters of 2019.

Sens. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) and Cory Gardner (R-Colo.) each saw 3-point drops in net approval. (Susan Collins also down.)

Tillis, Gardner, Ernst and Sen. Martha McSally (R-Ariz.) all have approval ratings beneath 40%.

Quote:
The most vulnerable Republican senators are not improving their standing in their home states ahead of a tough 2020 election cycle, while the field of potential Democratic challengers took shape and began to flex its muscle.

According to Morning Consult’s latest quarterly Senator Approval Rankings based on nearly 534,000 responses from registered voters collected July 1 through Sept. 30, Republicans representing Colorado, Arizona, North Carolina, Maine and Iowa all saw their net approval — the share of voters who approve of a senator’s job performance minus the share who disapprove — decline between the second and third quarters of 2019.

Highlights/lowlights from Mulvaney press conference:

Yes it was a quid pro quo, so what?
There is always politics in foreign policy decisions, get over it.
Trump decided to hold the G7 summit at his Doral golf club and that's completely normal and not corrupt at all. Why wouldn't he hold it there?
And he wants to invite Putin.

(4) the US agrees to un-sanction turkey.

that’s a “deal” like being mugged is a deal.

Yep, in light of the House impeachment hearings, the Trump camp realize that the previous lies are now transparent. The new strategy is exactly that, so what if Trump wants to tie aid to the political extortion of a rival, cover Russian interference with a falsified Ukrainian admission of guilt, oh... and not even tell the Ukrainians on a timely basis that was his game plan. The Ukrainians were checking their bank accounts and wondering why there was a delay. They only found out about the delay through Rudy Giuliani, who isn't even a federal employee, and who quite possibly received funds from a foreign government without registering as a foreign agent. Maybe the name Paul Manafort slipped from his fine legal mind. Further, if this is so legit, why was the Trump Administration going through the back channel by using Rudy and burying transcripts?

The key here is that Trump was making the Ukrainians panic. There are only two scenarios, both of which help Trump AND Putin:

1. Ukraine doesn't comply to extortion, Putin either annexes more land adjacent to Crimea or forces a cease-fire on his terms,

2. Ukraine unwillingly manufactures dirt on Biden's son, and pretends that they were behind election interference in 2016. The interesting question is how were they going to get the contents of Hillary's server in order to prove it. Why isn't anyone connecting the dots on that little gem?

Beto needs to go dropout of the primary and take Cornyn's seat, which I think he would win.
