Sad news. Frequent falls for elderly people is not a good sign and can have disastrous ramifications. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Yes. A great man in so many ways. He was also a better president than many give him credit for, but that's for another time. |

Quote: | Another Democratic member of the House foreign affairs committee, Andy Levin of Michigan, described Bill Taylor’s testimony as “very troubling.”
Levin said of the acting US ambassador to Ukraine’s comments: “All I have to say is that in my 10 short months in Congress—it’s not even noon, right—and this is my most disturbing day in Congress so far. Very troubling.”
Meanwhile, one of Levin’s colleagues defended Taylor’s reputation against potential smears from Trump’s allies. |

He's a much better man than President, though yes, his mishandling of the hostage crisis marred his reputation. He was overall a better President than that. Reagan is the opposite, his Presidency was far worse than what his acolytes proclaim. |

The strangest part of this whole saga is KKK Grandmaster Jeff Sessions and warmonger supreme John Bolton as the only GOPers with even a smidgen of ethical behavior. _________________ Under New Management |

Probably, but several vulnerable Republican senators will be on record voting to protect Trump. Some of them will likely lose their jobs. |

As long as the majority of the public supports impeachment and removal, that's all that matters, regardless what the Senate does. But some of the purple state Senators might be inclined to vote for removal for political reasons. It's important to have at least a handful of Republicans in the Senate vote to remove to make it a majority in the Senate, which will counter Trump's narrative that he was TOTALLY EXONERATED IN THE SENATE!!!! (he will repeat that countless times). _________________ ¡Hala Madrid! |

ribeye wrote: | State Dept. Inquiry Into Clinton Emails Finds No Deliberate Mishandling of Classified Information
Yes this is from yesterday and updated today, 10/19/19.
Quote: | The report concluded, “There was no persuasive evidence of systemic, deliberate mishandling of classified information.” |
Quote: | State Department investigators reviewed thousands of pages of documents, sent from 2009 to 2013, when Mrs. Clinton served in the Obama administration. The emails were on subjects that were not considered classified at the time, but that have been or were retroactively marked as classified. Investigators also took statements from hundreds of past and present department officials, and interviewed dozens more, according to the report.
The focus of the investigation, according to the report, was to determine if any of the emails “represented a failure to properly safeguard classified information,” and if so, if any specific individuals could be determined to bear responsibility. |
Quote: | For months, @nytimes put stories of Hillary Clinton’s email on its front pages. The final investigative report clearing all of wrongdoing? That is on page 16 today.

Thank you, "the liberal" New York Times. |
More on this.
First, again, let's thank "the liberal" New York Times.
Quote: | Analyses by Columbia Journalism Review, the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society at Harvard University, and the Shorenstein Center at the Harvard Kennedy School show that the Clinton email controversy received more coverage in mainstream media outlets than any other topic during the 2016 presidential election.[6][7][8] The New York Times coverage of the email controversy was notoriously extensive; according to a Columbia Journalism Review analysis, "in just six days, The New York Times ran as many cover stories about Hillary Clinton's emails as they did about all policy issues combined in the 69 days leading up to the election (and that does not include the three additional articles on October 18, and November 6 and 7, or the two articles on the emails taken from John Podesta)."[6] In attempting to explain the lopsided coverage, the Columbia Journalism Review speculates, "In retrospect, it seems clear that the press in general made the mistake of assuming a Clinton victory was inevitable, and were setting themselves as credible critics of the next administration."[6] |

President Carter is like Chick from the outward appearance, very fiercely independent for decades. Same thing befell Chick, he fell at a gas station after heart surgery when someone else should've been driving him around much less pumping his gas and then the fall in his back yard. I know how that falling stuff goes from experience, lot of hard-headed people in my family, two grandparents who died directly from falls. They don't give up their freedom til it winds up taking them instead. Each fall takes something from them, too. Good thing is that Jimmy has had an amazing long life and he would probably hate if he could no longer help people. A situation where you don't want him to die from a fall, but you also don't want to see him bedridden for his final months/year(s). There was a documentary about him in 2006 that was amazing. He was already an incredible elderly person and that was 13 years ago. _________________ GOAT MAGIC REEL

The kleptocratic (bleep) is running a shadow foreign policy to attack his domestic political opponents and line his pockets. If he did it in Ukraine, he's undoubtedly done it everywhere he can find likeminded shady autocrats. He's (bleep) U.S. diplomacy for decades to come and needs to be impeached for being a wholly unfit criminal thug.
What a damning indictment of so many Americans who voted for this moronic narcissistic racist Queens thug failson conman and of the Republican party for backing the unfit baboon because they like tax cuts and their constituents hate abortions, gay folks, and the non-whites. What a morally and ethically bereft, fundamentally broken party and constituency. Just the worst America has to offer. _________________ Under New Management |
