During his daily COVID-19 update Cuomo reiterated something that's been mentioned many times in the past as a solution to stem police brutality.
Have all police brutality complaints investigated by outside agencies. Police don't do a good job of policing themselves.

Just look back at how Nixon used images of riots and arson to promote his "return to law and order" re-election campaign to get the "silent majority" of middle class Whites scared enough to vote for him. This is exactly what they are saying. They are saying this will actually be really good for Trump, just as it was good for Nixon. They are framing it as though who care about law and order vs. those who don’t.

Agreed. The only thing that has ever damaged Trump in the polls has been his incompetence to Covid. Everything cultural (Charlottesville, NFL, Stormy Daniels) or in the DC media bubble (Russiagate, impeachment) has been ineffective or to his benefit.

It's not working. I'm in conservative, rich ass Newport Beach and the sense I'm getting (especially with the 40 and under crowd) is enough is enough. _________________ KOBE
