Longest I stayed up was six days--speed--and it wasn't a pretty sight.

A beatdown from life is what got me to stop...and the 11 times in jail, too.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/congresswomans-spokesman-quits-less-2-002902786.html

“Following the events of January 6th, I’ve decided to part ways with the office,” Goldey told Axios. “I wish her and the people of Colorado’s Third District the best.”

Why stick to cliche at this point? If you really wished her the best, wouldn't you stay? Just say what's on your mind. "I wish this Qanon nut-job only the worst!"

Maybe sources lie to the media all the time. Maybe sources expect the press to be their stenographers.

"Ted Cruz isn't the man he used to be according to aides." Maybe. Or maybe they're lying to your face. Maybe Ted Cruz is exactly the same as he ever was and they're trying to pave smoother exits from his employ via your newspaper.

I visit friends in NYC who are constantly up on coke and adderall and they exhaust me. Why would I want to be wide awake at 5 a.m.? Give me a few belts of scotch and ten hours of sleep please.

I wonder what the rules of engagement are relating to the possible reoccurrence of Jan 6th on inauguration day? Batons, tear gas, rubber bullets, shoot to maim, shoot to kill, water cannons? Keep in mind these a White Supremacist.

TIME LEFT UNTIL TRUMP LEAVES OFFICE

The New Yorker posted stunning footage of the attack on the Capitol. It is disturbing for many reasons.

At one point a cop casually strolls in as they are on the Senate floor and says nicely some inbred hick sitting on the floor “you good sir? You need medical attention?”

The Washington post put together a great timeline of what happened at the Capitol with footage. It’s really easy to see why that woman was shot when you see the context of what was happening at the time.

That video is chilling. When the insurrection first took place I didn't really think it was an insurrection. I thought it was a bunch of disgruntled people expressing their displeasure with the election.

Listening to some of the recorded remarks gives rise to they really wanted to take over the government and harm some senators.

This should be taken very seriously. All who participated, including senators, policemen, and especially Trump should be prosecuted and if found guilty given the maximum sentences available.

Why Joe Biden Is Going Ahead With An Outdoor Inauguration

Security will be much better than it was Jan. 6 — and it’s important to send a message.

I should hope so . . . it's like it could be any worse.

They have held the Inauguration indoors before . . . because of weather. And yet they won't hold this one indoors when it's clear violence is highly likely.

The Trumpies aren't going to get any message from proceeding as usual with an outdoor event. But they are going to have a huge opportunity to send a message of their own . . .

Like I said before. This is sheer lunacy. I hope I am wrong, obviously, but I don't think this is going to end well.

The part that makes me extra nervous is that it's not just Biden that will be exposed -- it will be the Obamas, the Clintons, SCOTUS judges, Pelosi, Senators, etc. If an enemy, foreign or domestic, wanted to strike, that's quite a target.

Most people who don't want Biden as President. Don't want Kamala as President even more. So at least Biden's safety has that going for it.

I wonder how long he'll wait to release the long list of pardons. 11:59am on Wednesday? He'll be desperate to get all the attention during the inauguration.

If they take out Biden, Harris, and Pelosi, does this mean Pompeo becomes President?

If so... this is pure idiocy to have all three of them at the ceremony.

I'm hoping wiser minds are going to change Biden's mind in the next couple of days.

This isn't like trying to return the nation to normalcy after 9/11 in order to show terrorists we will not let them intimidate us.

Chuck Grassley would be president.

Famous last words, but I expect the swearing in ceremony to go fine. It'll be soft targets elsewhere that could be in peril - mayors, governors, state and federal buildings, etc.

I think the inauguration will be fine. There’s 20,000 troops in DC plus the Secret Service, FBI and law enforcement are on high alert after the failure on January 6th. Y’all Queda is going to have a hard time overwhelming that number of troops.

I would've seen the value of Adderalls as a teen to pull all nighters and/or to simply keep focused while studying (I know, a complete nerd admission), but other than that, they're a shty drug. I have a hard enough time maintaining a regular sleep schedule as it is. I don't wanna be like Frank from Blue Velvet. (inhales gas) "N-n-n-nNEXT!!1 Get him outta the car, Raymond!!1 (puts lipstick on) "Mmm-pretty-preeetty..." (wipes blue velvet over face) Frank was a maniac on Addies. "LEEET'S FAAAHH! I'LL FAAH ANYTHING THAT MEEEEWVES!, heh heh heh heh!!..."
