Dangelo needs to man up and play fearlessly even with minor injuries. I mean keep attacking in various ways and not just settle for 3s. Kobe laid it all out everynight despite playing with all those injuries. I guess not everybody has high pain tolerance like that. |

I thought wed win this one but given how we protect the ibteriro, I'm guessing Westbrook drops 50+ |

Yeah, the tie breaker ends up 1-1. OKC can be the 1's who fall back on the map, winning this game gives us a better chance at making the playoffs but we said the same thing about the Dallas and Bulls game and we ended up losing so this team doesn't seem to have the mentality of a playoff team yet. |

Lakers will need to have the same energy type game they did against golden state to win tonight IMO. |

Bear in mind it's the first game of a back to back. I might be wise to rest him in one of them, otherwise, a sore knee may become an injured knee and we don't want that. _________________ .... |

The remaining two games against the Thunder will be very crucial. Please win! _________________ I was an atheist, until I knew Kobe.

Westbrook always kills us. Hopefully we are locked in on D tonight and are hot from the field.
Tbh, the Thunder isn't much better than us and I think we can take them we just gotta play well. |

The injury doesn't seem like anything serious. I am just a little confused about his demeanor. Sometimes he seems like a very quiet reserved guy and other times he seems extremely cocky. Anyone know why? I imagine it would be hard to play consistently without a consistent mindset. |

Gotta slow down their role players.
Westbrook is gonna get his.
Gonna need to help the helper. Or else Steven Adams and Kanter are gonna eat like my fat uncle at Thanksgiving (too much). _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

He's still a kid.
Apparently as of last night he was "questionable", haven't heard an update yet today... |

I don't even think Russell gets to call his own number. He hasn't earned it. If Luke or the docs tell him to sit, he's gonna sit. He's nowhere near Kobe's status where he gets the say on if he plays or not.
Kobe no one said a thing to him, not even Byron who was the coach. |

DLO isn't Kobe? Umm, I think we all know that. And very few players have pain tolerance like Kobe. I'd argue he had the highest pain tolerance level ever in the NBA. So not being Kobe isn't a slight on anyone. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Lakers come out firing and all the youngsters have a big game. Ends up being a close game but Lakers blow it open and win by 10-15 points |

Kobe was one of a kind so that would be a very accurate guess. |

This is a very big game early in the season for the young Lakers. They need the win for potential playoff standings, stop a home losing streak, and to show that they've made some progress after the last 2 home defensive crapfests. These are the lessons that they need to learn to become a better team and show that it wasn't just rhetoric after the last game. A third straight poor showing may just reveal that this team isn't gonna have enough to make the needed adjustments to be playoff bound since it's a pattern. |

Looks like DLO may sit this one out as he didn't participate in the shoot around. |
