Toronto is somewhat similar to Chicago, although with more firepower. If we can contain Derozan like Butler in the last game, we have a fair shot at the W.

GO LAKERS!

one big weapon of Derozen is getting to the foul line. he gets almost half of his points there it seems. don't foul him, let him shoot over you, his jumpshots are still inconsistent.

Very curious to see how Ingram might handle the assignment of containing DRoz, imagine if he contains DeRozan or makes him work. That would be truly special especially after giving Butler a hard time.

Calderon should be motivated against the Raptors...especially after they dumped him in a trade when he was having a good season.

Let's get the W.

Beginning of the season, I would consider this game a loss. Tough team and on the road would have been a guaranteed loss. But the way the Lakers are playing, every game is winnable.

I look forward to every game now and I schedule my other activities around the Lakers games.

This is going to be a tough one. I haven't watched the Raptors this season, but DeRozan has been excellent. Hopefully he has a bad night and the Lakers can hit their threes.

Raps are balling. This will be a tough game, but at least we got a days worth of rest after the Chicago game.

Can we not start off slow for once?

Calderon on Rondo we got away with cause Rondo is not a scorer but look what happened vs Jrue Holiday, a scoring PG... Kyle Lowry might go off on us.

This is a statement game. This game will tell us if they're serious about making the playoffs.

Winning this will be even more surprising than against Bulls, but this team is surprising. It's good to get to a tough game knowing that losing is not inevitable.

I think the problem is that we're still 10-10... it remains to be seen whether starting off slow is actually how we win or not.

The Raptors have kinda found their way of late. Guys who had been slumping for them are waking up, the P.Pattersons, and Demarre have now started to hit their stride and producing. So it's going to be a tough game.

I hope to see us defend DeRozan like we did against Butler last game. He's looking to score/draw contact every trip, so getting the ball out of his hand is paramount. Stay on Lowry as he's a bulldog too and can get streaky hot, he's the one that'll take over if they're down and never quits.

With Patterson, Ross, Norman, and Demarre alive again, can't just leave them open on the 3line.

They're bench is active and no slouch, Cory Joseph, T.Ross, Norman P, and Nogueira are all high energy and active they'll disrupt the game and Ross is their no conscious gunner. Can't sleep!

Box out JV, Siakam, and Nogueira! Win the boards win the game!

Just gotta hope it's not Drake night.

Hopefully they get this one and have a shot at 3-1 trip but honestly I will be pumped with 2-2 or better. Let's get this W and have a shot at 3-1!

We got a ugly win in Chicago, a team above .500, on the road no less. A win is a win. Two more on the road against two against teams above .500. This team is showing they'll fight until the last whistle. Luke is earning his paycheck. Gonna miss Swaggy P.

Time for Ingram to prove how overrated Demar DeRozan actually is.

Actually I think DeRozan is underrated. Demar can flat ball.

yup, calderon and deng by all accounts are two of the ultimate team chemistry guys. This is very important to set the tone of our young core. Also, Luke Walton.

If you surround yourself by positive AND COMPETENT professionals you're putting yourself in a pretty good position to succeed.

Whoever calderon is guarding will put up at least 35. The matchup problem with this game is that they have 2 really good players and they are both guards and our starting back court is injured.

With how little respect our guys get from the refs, lowry and derozan are gonna shoot ALOT of free throws. Our centers are going to need to play Valenciunas at least to a draw, Randall is going to have to dominate and our SF position is going to need to give us some offense for us to win this game.

If we get down by a significant margin in this game, I might pull Randle, Mosgov, clarkson and Lou a bit early in this one to let them rest up for tomorrow. Memphis has been devastated by injuries and is a much more winnable game. Would hate to burn our guys out tonight and lose then lose again because we are tired tomorrow.
