One of the teams we have to beat if we want a chance at the playoffs. Let's start the road back to .500 and beyond off on the right track.

Jazz are very tough to beat because of their crazy good interior defense.

This game is going to come down to the jazz having their way with us defensively, so can we make shots from outside to keep up? Because we won't be getting our points in the paint

GO LAKERS

BIG game.

Especially cos the next game against Rockets will be TOUGH.

Hope the guys step up otherwise we could be looking at 4 losses in a row and moving to 10-14 :/

I think we get tonight or Houston game.

And then beat the Knicks.

Huge.

Contain Hood and Hayward.

Winning this game will be BIG.

11-12 is a very good accomplisment with 59 games to go after tonight and the 7-game road trip against average teams can give us good momentum if we take care of business.

Jazz are like the Grizzles. Scrappy enough to win ballgames with defense. Lakers need to play with the same level of physicality to win tonight.

If I recall correctly, Favors gave the Lakers problems with his size last game. If he's out, it should be easier for the Lakers to defend the interior.

NBA says refs missed two calls at end of memphis game that would have gotten us free throws. I recall last utah game zebras being atrocious, lets see if they give us a little well earned and deserved make up calls

Let the courting of Gordon Hayward begin!

Last time Hill killed us and Hayward was out. if I remember correctly we were close in the fourth and they pulled away in the last couple of minutes. Hopefully we can play better at home.

Depends on the injury situation.

DLO - out until at least Dec. 10

Young - out until at least Dec. 14

Calderon - out until at least Dec. 19

Nance - Game time decision.

It's going to be tough without DLO, Young or Calderon on that starting squad, but if Nance is able to go we could win this. If he isn't isn't fully recovered I see this being a real tough game to win.

Preview: Los Angeles Lakers Rematch Against Utah Jazz

Quote:
The Lakers are playing at home against the Utah Jazz tonight, after coming off of their toughest road trip of the season to-date, a trip in which they won one of four games.

Not only did they lose a lot of those games, but they aren’t coming out of the trip healthy. Nick Young strained his calf in the first game and Jose Calderon strained his hamstring, which leaves the Lakers with three guards left as D’Angelo Russell is also out.

Walton said he thinks Larry Nance, Jr. (knee contusion) will be available, but he’d prefer not to use him and give it more rest.

Limited minutes for Larry tonight?

Westbrook has to learn to trust his teammates. He's going to lose the locker room.

Either Randle or Ingram (hopefully both) have a statement game tonight.

Lou Williams scoring 40 is cool and all when it's leading to wins but I'd rather see one of the young guns light it up
