First listen..great album. Very pleased - this is great music.

Even if you are not a fan of hip-hop this is a worthy listen.

On a side note: Gambino's Awaken, My Love is AMAZING. It's psych funk - and I recommend everyone to check it out.

Sounds decent, but I'm not sure that it's good enough to land on DJ Snazzy Suede's Premium Playlist.

He has a way of sending strong messages through his songs without the "heavy" feeling. Songs are easy listens and the content is very well educated and relevant. Not something I'd party to or turn up to. Drake album will take care of that soon

Enjoy! Make sure you give Gambino's album a chance too - I think behind Frank Ocean Blond it's album of the year. Punches you in the face.

I like Cole, on of my favourite current rappers. At first listen it's a good album, favourite songs so far are Change, Foldin Clothes, Immortal.

Someone mentioned Gambino above, def second that, it's a good listen, very different.

It's hard to compare the two for me because both released albums more in the "conscious" lane, yet they're night and day in content. Soul's album is crazy dense in a truly impressive way and is the natural sequel to Control System. He snapped hard on this one, thought-provoking bars for days! Ima have to run it back again.

CJ Fly did stellar on FLYTRAP imo. Everything I've heard from it is ridiculously smooth for those chill out, late night drives, albeit it is a bit of a departure from Pro Era's usual sound of '90s instrumentals and boom bap beats. Just press play on this tape and enjoy the ride!

Long story short, you can't go wrong with either TDE or Pro Era my bro

Gotta update. I was giving CJ Fly props cuz he did his thing but Soulo's album is simply on another level. AOTY contender for me at this moment.
