If no one feels good about how the Lakers played in this loss then idk what to tell you. This was a really encouraging game for the team to get its mojo back. It's an 82 game season, people! _________________ Austin Reaves

Assuming Luke knows or maybe we don't have them yet cause these guys make the same unforced errors over and over |

lmao this is what happens when we don't have a 7 footer on the floor to close out games. Rose should NOT have had such an easy glance at the basket, especially when the game was still winnable. Randle simply not locked in on defense other than a few flashes on a couple possessions per game. |

Need to start back up the tank thread. The 3rd worst team (where we could still have our pick protected) has 6 wins. Lakers only with 10. This is doable. |

I'm not impressed by outside shooting Euro giants, especially when they shoot in the low 40's. I said Porky has to show me he can be a more efficient shooter. He has done that, but on top of that, unlike the Barghanis, this kid is a presence in the paint. I'm officially impressed. Kid is the real deal. 7 blocks! |

I guess defense doesn't matter to you, considering Porzingis altered nearly every shot in the paint every minute he was in. Also Porzingis full statline, not just his shooting line is 26/12/2/7 with 1 TO.
Not trying to pick on Randle, but the comparison is horrible.

Alright welp... Way to put up a fight Lakers. This looked MUCH better than the last few games w/o DLO & Nick.
Our defense tho... I want a defensive coordinator on Luke's staff... |

I've already seen enough of Porzingis to know that we really missed out on a superstar. Russell and Ingram could be good players in a few years but Porzingis is a rare talent. I've never seen a big with so much versatility before. Porzingis will be a top 5 player in a year or two. Phil deserves a lot of credit. |

2 games in a row with Ingram regressing from the momentum he'd built 2 games ago.
Hope Luke stays in his ear between now and Sacramento. Gonna need a better effort. |

You gonna call out the entire team on that one or are you just focusing on one player? |

He wasn't comparing. He's saying Randle did all that while also guarding Porgingod. |

A guy with his length and athleticism should be able to find some easy baskets every game.
He's now shooting about 28% for the year. If you shoot that poorly and play 27 minutes a night, you are going to be one of the worst players in the NBA. Maybe Ingram will be good in a couple years, but I've given up hope this season. He is a really bad offensive player. There's nothing in his offensive game that he can depend on. |

I dont think its a question of effort, he is totally overmatched in the NBA. He should have stayed in college. I mean, I get that you need to be patient with young players, but we may have struck out on this one.. |

Yep. Not trying to draw a comparison, but highlight that he had a great game vs a 7'3" monster when it wouldn't seem like it because KP blocked him a couple times. Easy to miss the forest for the trees.
Also defense does matter to me. It matters that the whole team plays it too _________________ Austin Reaves
