DLO blows up huge and the rolls on.
I am not sure it gets much better than that at this point, great game by him and a pretty strong effort by Ingram, Clarkson and others as well....hell even Randle had 7 assists.
Again, ultimately what lost the game was defense. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

Was never worried about Cavs not winning this game but am worried about Phoenix not winning anymore games this season lol.
This might be the last night this season where the Lounge is peaceful.
Good fight, got the L, good night. |

And tonight's awesomeness comes on the heels of the Milwaukee game- another game where the young guys held their own vs a superior opponent but still managed to come up with the clutch L. |

Adam Silver really needs to step in on the tank. We really haven't tanked until very recently (and it was a short one at that). I remember many years ago, Dbag Stern stepped in when teams were sitting players (more for rest than the tank). Stern said that fans pay alot of money to watch a game and teams should not be sitting anybody. The NBA has changed big time. The Suns have sat their entire team which is BS. The league needs to do something about it. |

I guess they should do something about if you love communism. But personally I don't like when the league makes basketball decisions.
If they want to make a new cba thats one thing but telling team what lineups they have to play is whole another thing. |

The NBA has a fundamental problem in that their season is WAY too long and it hurt the quality of the product big time.
It is one of the reasons I only like to pay the big bucks to attend playoff games (not a problem lately ) because then you know the teams and players are going with max effort.
The regular season should be about 50 games, not 82 but they will never do it because of money. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

Agree. I don't attend regular season games anymore and have not done so in years other than free tickets. I have seen way too many times where guys are partying the night before and then playing against each other hungover as hell.
I'm not saying this isn't human nature, especially when the season is a grind but I am not paying to watch guys who got (bleep) together the night before half ass compete against each other and a lot of the time not really taking it seriously. |

Its already league policy and approved by the NBA board of governors in April 2010 against "resting players". |

Lakers are doing the same.
they are sitting Mosgov and Deng. Nick Young sometimes.
I think that the Suns will pull off one more game. |

Mozgov and Deng are pure (bleep) though so that doesn't really count.
Agree with Young though. _________________ Darvin Scam: https://media.tenor.com/images/3c15249955860a4b16b59e8ae035fb75/tenor.gif |

You cannot compare what they are doing versus us. Chandler, Knight, Booker, and Bledsoe are "SLIGHTLY" better than Moz, Deng, and sometimes Young. |

I would never compared our players to there players.
Our players are bad.
Bottom line is that they are resting vets who potentially could make a difference in a few of these games.
I think our vets potentially could help win one or two more games. |

Last night was the type of losses I want to see. Keep it close and competitive throughout with our young guys getting it done but lose at the end. We need that top 3 pick. |

Even if we lose the pick at this point, I will rest easy knowing that we did everything we could to keep it. |

Any fanbase, GM, or coach sprays their shorts at the prospect of a guy who can pace the game and look all the way up the court to pass to the open man in a split second. A guy who can find seams and throw over defenses in the half court. A guy who can convert passes from the arc to the paint unlike most of our points in recent memory (think DFish). I don't think he's as good a passer as Kidd, but then again, I think Kidd is the only guy since Magic who could make those kind of passes. However, Ball IS good enough... We wanted Simmons because he could do the same things. People talk about Lonzo's shot, but it's less of a question mark than Ben's was/is. I'd have no problem with taking Ball at 1 (IF). I'd have no problem with Fultz at 2, either (IF). Keeping this pick and 2019 is so vital, it's not even funny. This CBA has cut our franchise's balls off. _________________ GOAT MAGIC REEL
