I think we are slowly but surely getting to a point where the coaching staff/FO need to decide when to take off the training wheels a bit and let the young guys assume their roles (namely JC taking the 2nd unit lead). |
JC has been playing way better recently. Slowly give him the reigns as long as he's playing the way he can/should. |

Yeah. We're already seeing that with DLO/Jules Luke is giving them more minutes, and Ingram is also. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

My vote goes to Randle. He's been the Lakers best player when they're healthy. Lou has been great, but I'm not sure if he's been the most helpful overall. _________________ Austin Reaves

The great thing is that the "MVP" Laker concept is fluid b/c we have so many young and up coming guys in DLO/Jules/Ingram. Naturally the vets are more polished and NBA-ready, but I wouldn't be surprised if the 2nd half Lakers "MVP" were one of DLO/Jules/Ingram (in any order). _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Dlo. With him in the lineup, it makes it easier for the other players offensively. Can't hate anyone voting for Jrock though, dudes been a stud. It's all coming together, til the next L. _________________ Music is my medicine |

And please, for the love of LG, let's not start an unnecessary civil war about which young player is the "most" important, etc.
Why not savor having 3 guys who are potential all-stars... _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

If we are talking about who has been responsible for helping us win more games, I would go Lou then Swaggy. I don't think we have an MVP as we are not good enough "YET" to have one. |

This season, there's a strong case for Nick Young. Seriously. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

it is an internal individual recognition, external team competitiveness is irrelevant....even the T-Ball team I was on in 2nd Grade who was 3-17 had a team MVP...yeah that's right, your talking to him |

I'm voting Lou. I'm equating the MVP with the most consistent and for me that's Lou. 2nd goes to Julius and my boy Russell 3rd, Nick 4th.
Love them all. The kids are about to take the reigns. Lou has been an escort. He's bringing them along to maturity. Now, they're poised to take another leap, because they have a great coach whose most vital contribution thus far has been the change in culture.
He's letting the kids be the kids with the perfect balance of accountability and instruction. |

In fairness to some of the other guys, I think that stat is kind of unfair because he is the one who missed time. If D'Angelo plays but Lou is out and they have to give Huertas a bunch of minutes, I think wins would be tough to come by. |

Russell "benefits" by being the only NBA capable PG on the roster (apologies to 'Celo and Jose), which means the drop-off in the performance of the starting offense is more stark than if, say, DJ Augustin could fill in. |

If Luke Walton was in the poll. I would've voted for him. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

I chose JR but you can certainly make a great argument for D'Lo or Lou |

I think you could make a strong case for any of Julius, Lou, or DLO. Personally, I'm inclined to vote for Lou, however the team definitely seems to go as Julius and DLO go. That is, when they play well we usually win, but when Lou plays well, it doesn't seem to impact the end result quite as much. |

I voted Lou.
Dlo is my fav player but I can't pick him. He's missed 40 pct of the season so far.
I picked Lou because he hasn't missed any games and has been our go to closer in more games than anyone else. |

I voted Randle but I could make an equal case for Russell. _________________ “There is always light if only we're brave enough to see it, if only we're brave enough to be it.” --Amanda Gorman |

Randle. I personally want to see DLO & Ingram be the future faces of the NBA, but Randle does so much for this team. He plays a big boy's game. He acts very mature on the court. He's scared of no one. I can go on and on. He's our best player so far. |

Russ is my favorite player, but LouWill has been the best player on the team this season without doubt and nick Young best 2 way player. |
