We are last place in the nba in blocks per game. Zubac provides shot blocking and offense to boot. It sounds like a no brainer to me.

Eh. More like start with 8-10 minutes and ramp up.

He isn't ready, so to throw him into a situation like that would be a poor coaching move. That is why we won't see Luke doing that.

At this point in his development, he'll likely give you less scoring, less rebounding and less shot blocking than our other centers.

If you think the Lakers should give him more minutes to develop him, OK. If you think he's going to make the team better, that's unlikely.

I agree he should be playing a bit more. There have been quite a few games where he could have played a few minutes.

I'd like to see him start getting about 5-10 mins a game for sure. He's no where close to a 20-25 minute player though and one garbage time performance in a 40 point blowout vs 3rd stringers won't change that. When he's been given mins this season, hes looked really bad so I think we should start slow before throwing him in for 20 mins a game, he's not even conditioned enough for that yet.

Maybe with about 10 games left.

Let's use the remaining games to develop the young core. Give Zubac 10 minutes/game. Sure he's going to struggle, but he'll also improve with experience.

Where did you pull that number out of? I do think we would all like to see him a little more.

He blocks and alters shots better than anybody on our roster. I think he could actually help our team win while simotanously developing his game to nba level.

When we are out of the playoffs, that's when it should happen. We didn't mind playing BI while he struggled so the same should be done with Zubac on a limited scale IMO (12-18MPG)

I figured that's enough time for him to make an impact while at the same time not throwing him in there for for 30+ minutes.

Play him a consistent 10 per no matter what. If the situation lends itself (games out of reach, he is playing well, etc.), Luke can always extend his minutes. Its got to be a learning experience, but no so much that it sets his development back.

No thanks. We've tanked enough the last few years. If you think he would actually help the team playing that much... YIKES. It's obvious he isn't ready yet. 5-10 a game after the all star break makes sense though.

That's exactly what Popovic would do. Throw him in there and see how it goes.

Start playing him around 10 minutes and go from there. He won't do any less than mozgov/black/Robinson combo anyway and he has more potential.

I'm so angry with Luke. We had lost this game, why not give Zu some minutes?

Yup, I'm done with Moz and trying to go small against big teams. Luke preaches about development than start pairing up a lot of the core to see who can stay or be traded. I'm done with this Lou being the goto scorer.
