Legendary.

You know when the owner is replying with purple and gold hearts that it's a big freaking deal.

I will call it right now. GT will move up in the video coordinator ranks and into coaching. GT will eventually be an NBA Head Coach!

Do it, GT! But please keep tweeting even when you're a famous head coach.

Just saw that first tweet coming through the official Lakers Twitter account. Woot woot! 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾

Per Lakers

In his first #LakeShow  production, @LakerFilmRoom presents:

The King and his Freshness, connected by instincts.

This is awesome for Pete, but I wonder if the Lakers stop here when it comes to raiding LG?

--Dancing Barry brought on to hand-deliver Vogel detailed post-game recaps. Minor controversy ensues when Woj reports Rondo is "quite upset" that DB ignored his 6 assists and gave him a very sad emoji after the team gives up 42 points in his 8 minutes on the floor.
--After any loss, Just-Ming brought on to delete the defeat from the team's memory. "Like it never happened."
--Basketball Fan hangs around the locker room and practice, casually starting up discussion threads for the players to chat about the events of the day.
--Eric and Larry's innovative cap work allows the Lakers to sign Zion, Giannis, Ja, Klay in the same offseason. Despite this seeming coup, someone starts a thread on LG ripping "the so-called cap experts" for not figuring out a way to sign Marcus Banks for some perimeter defense.
--Aeneas Hunter and activeverb hired as assistant coaches. When Vogel screams at the team during one timeout that "We gotta get better on defense!" Aeneas is heard on camera calmly replying, "That is one way of looking at this game, but I'm not sure I'd agree with the conclusion." Curiously, neither is ever spotted in the arena together at the same time.
--spflakers hired to sit in a room with any members of Showtime for 16 hours a day, reminiscing about wins, losses and titles, fulfilling his own basketball dream and also ensuring none of the guys ever has a chance to be involved with coaching or the front-office.
--NPZ hired to manage the Lakers Volt, shakes his head in disgust when he steps inside it and realizes his own library has 3,456 more games than the team does.

I’m late to the party but wow, just wow.

There’s a guy who loved basketball but especially the Lakers. He’d share his insights on a laker fan message board. Went to youtube video analysis that he self produced and also started his own podcast discussing the same topics. The analysis and quality he did was so good, the local Laker channel started using his stuff.

Then, one day, the Lakers called and offered this hard working, Laker loving fella a job...

Congrats Pete. Been absolutely a pleasure watching you soar (and putting kobe’s advice to good use).
