Sorry I wasn't there last night, GT -- would have been good to see you there. They always put me down in the baseline corner now (either 108 or 114), but I've been in the upper press box for a few games (Kobe's finale, WCF & Finals, and I'd say it's -- just barely -- in the building. But it's a seniority/pecking order thing, and you'll keep getting better & better seats over time. Obviously the bigger the game, the more media are there. Lakers-Clippers are always crowded as well, for obvious reasons. Day of week matters, too. Way fewer people there Friday nights.
As for media room food, it used to be a lot better. Now we rarely bother -- I can get Lexus Lounge passes pretty frequently (truly good food), or EP & I will go eat somewhere else on the suite level or even the concourse rather than in the media room.
And for those who don't know, the reporters are a pretty tight group, and that includes the national people.

Yeah, I was hoping you'd be there. No complaints whatsoever regarding the seats. Grateful to be in the building at all. A few people told me this was an unusually well-attended game by the press with the Warriors in town.
I was in the middle of tweeting out how good the food was in the press room (it was apparently unusually good) and a friend of mine who's there all the time was peering over my shoulder as I typed it and said, "Pete, I swear to God, if you tweet that the (bleep) food is good here, I will lose all respect for you!"
I still tweeted that. Being that it was my first time, my seats were great, the food was great, the train ride was great, etc.
Congrats, GT! Well deserved.
Not only us Lakers fans, but every basketball fan should watch your videos. Short and on point, always teaching us a little bit more about the game with no bullsh*t. Not to mention the great soundtracks (Salute To Kareem! This is a level above everyone else).

GT, I'm proud of you. You've tilled and sowed and now your diligence is being rewarded with the start of the harvest.
You've carved a nice spot for yourself as a reporter, one that much needed and long overdue. Have no doubt you're on your way. Keep up the great work! _________________ We back.
