Had enough of twc and cancelled my service. I'm trying out PlayStation VUe but there's no lakers channel. How do you guys that cut the cord on cable watch the games ??
What happened? I can't imagine being without cable. Streaming, buffering, lagging, pixelating, stealing, no replay... no way to live. LOL!
Not everyone can afford the $100-$200 cable/satellite bill per month to receive hundreds to thousands of channels they don't watch. I'm sure theres a lot of people out there who only watch a couple of channels and will take the sacrifice of lagging, pixelating to save some cash. Streaming video services like the Vue offer that as an alternative. Yeah, you don't get as much options as a full blown cable/satellite subscription but not everyone needs that.

I cut the cord (somewhat). I still have Comcast Internet.
- Get a Roku
- Download NBA League Pass App.
- Download all your favorite channel apps and ask a friend or family member for thier cable provider log in.
- Get Sling TV for ESPN, TNT, AMC and local channels.
Never miss a game or Walking Dead ever again
Seriously Sling has all the channels I watch for 20 bucks, LP sets me back 200 a year but is worth it, and the Roku apps (HBO go and what not) combined with a free cable log in (thanks sis) is almost just like having cable TV for a lot less money.
I went from 160 a month for cable and internet down to about 75 per month for sling and internet.

Add another $8 a month for a VPN subscription if you live in the LA TV market for League Pass.
