It seems like people are now considering Embiid to be above even Towns, with Porzingis considerably beneath both.

To build around:
1. Embiid
2. Towns
3. AD
4. Porzingis

Towns, Embiid, Porzingis. Towns is doing it all and consistently. Embiid is getting there but has to shake the glass stigma. Porzingis is talented but inconsistent, one game he'll put up gross numbers, the next, just gross.

Woah, you put Embiid and Towns over Anthony Davis? I didn't include him because I thought he would be the consensus #1.

Embiid is coming. Unibrow may be a bit fragile. Zing is also a work in progress. KAT is beasting. Hope Minnesota doesn't do to him what they did to KG. Wiggins is a start.

Yeah Embiid pretty easily. Not right now but going forward.
Towns and AD I go back and forth on

I don't think Towns and Davis are 7'. If we ignore injury risk I would want to start my team with Embiid because I feel he has just as much defensive impact as offense.

If injuries are considered I might take Davis or Towns, most likely Towns.

Embiid is everything you want out of a modern NBA big man, hopefully he has a long NBA career to show us his great NBA talent.

Lots of injury worries with all but Towns. But when all are healthy I would put Davis at the top with Embiid next.

Embiid is averaging 25 mpg. He did not play today because he was being rested.

I like his game and his potential, but we should be cautious in evaluating him. As of right now, I would take KAT in a heartbeat. Embiid may end up being the better player, but KAT has actually played real minutes over a sustained period of time.

As for Porzingis, I think the New York effect has gotten him a little overrated. Good player. Not a superstar. He's averaging about 19/7/2 in 33 minutes. KAT is averaging 23/12/1.5 in 36 minutes. Embiid is averaging 20/8/2.5 in 25 minutes. Porzingis just isn't at the level of KAT and Embiid.

I'm going with Embid over Towns due to his defensive presence and the fact that I don't think he has even scratched the surface on how impactful his game will be on both ends. Town is beasting offensively but not so much defensively. Porzingus is a unique talent but I don't think he is in the same tier as those guys. So for me it's:

Embid
Towns
Porzingus

If you include AD then it's

Embid
AD
Towns
Porzingus

Embiid definitely. Towns has a ways to go before he's Embiid's level defensively. Tingis has a ways to go before he's either level offensively.

Amongst the 3, I go with:

1. Embiid
2. Towns
3. Porky

AD I have as #1.5 (but he's not in the OP).

I still worry about Embiid's long term health with his foot. I think Towns has the safest bet of the 3 to have a longer/durable career.

If healthy I go Embiid. His impact is real. He energizes that team on top of those monster #'s.

Yeah, Lakers fans fondly remember the "if healthy" caveat.

But I agree, IF healthy, Embiid. But I don't think he will always be healthy which is why I think KAT is a safer middleground.
