"The Room" is widely held as one of the worst movies ever made, so bad that it has become a fan favorite and achieved a cult following, regularly selling out midnight shows all over the world. " The Room" was written, produced and directed by the films leading actor, Tommy Wiseau.
James Franco now brings us "The Disaster Artist", a film written, produced, and directed by the films leading actor, James Franco. It is even said that James would maintain character while directing. A film about the making of "The Room" and it's creator.
I have been hearing stories about the insanity that was going on on the set of "The Disaster Artist" for over a year and was able to see an early showing at AMC Century City (wide release this Friday), and I must say I absolutely loved this movie and plan to see it again a few times.
For anyone who has been seeing this movie in the theatre listings or on Rotten Tomatoes, I highly recommend it. For anyone who has the seen The Room and/or The Disaster Artist, I would love to hear your feedback.
If you are intrigued, and do not know how to find "The Room" I can help you watch a free copy, but you MUST pledge to donate a fair price to the films creator (PM me). Anyone who has already seen a free copy, I encourage you to donate a fair price to the films creator.

Anyways, watching the two films for the first time in the last few weeks have been a great cinematic experience for me, and if anyone else has seen these, please join the discussion. |

It was alright. If you're wondering whether Dave Franco can carry a movie...he cannot. James was great though. _________________ 14-5-3-12 |

I probably oversold it. Sorry. You saw The Room first right? I know Franco says you don't need to see The Room to see his movie, but he just wants the sales, you're really missing out if you don't see The Room first. |

I adore The Room and read the book this movie is based on. I think you definitely need to see the original before seeing this. _________________ 14-5-3-12 |

This is was one my most really enjoyable movie experiences I had within the last several years, maybe century or decade. It was not only good but it was great.

Disaster Artist was probably the best time I had at the movies this year.
