The Rams did have an SB winning QB after all.

You have that right. Evidence Los Angeles Rams turn around.

unlike Montana or Bradshaw

undefeated in the big game

As much as I wish that was true...

Brady 5-3
Lebron 3-5

montana and bradshaw , 4-0

I hate tom but

5-3 > 4-0

Uhh, no.

i like tom but undefeated 4x is better

So you would rather Magic and showtime Lakers have 4 titles if it was 4-0 rather than 5-4? I was rooting for the Eagles btw.

Brady won 5 rings as much as I'm glad to not see him win #6 he still has the most SB wins of any QB in NFL history.

Regardless if he had been smart he would've retired last season.

Now with an SB loss and him aging there's no guarantee he'll get back there as easily.

The Rams had many competent QB's who failed rying to turn around the franchise with a Jeff Fisher offense. Just look at how many Jeff Fisher QB's around the league are succeeding.

Yes, he'll get overpaid by someone.

Two of them are on the Vikings.

I didn't realize how many Pats castoffs are on the Eagles(Blount, Chris Long, and Malcolm Butler)

Yeah but why are they doing it without him?

He's the MVP. No need to retire unless you can't keep up the high level. Lebron has even less chance to win a title as long as GSW core is around yet no one says he should retire.

Well LeBron is 33 still has some years left.

Brady is 40 odds are slimmer.

But hey its his career I don't care how it ends as long as it ends.

Well, we don't know for how long both can play at a high level. Maybe Lebron can't either after 2-3 years. Brady still playing great at 40. If he was almost done as a star QB like Manning, it'd make sense to retire.

Well I didn't bother watching this game but I guess winning the regular season MVP is still a curse.

Eagles fans will be more insufferable now though.

Will be interesting the Eagles QB situation going forward they won with their backup QB.

Not saying Wentz won't still be the starter but makes you wonder if Doug Pederson is making these QBs more than anything.

I don't see the Eagles trading Foles personally at the very least he will be a reliable backup.

Doug Pederson made his bones developing QB's. Once Wentz went down, he tailored the offense to fit Foles. The best thing for Philly and Foles is to find a team who has that kind of offensive wizardry, preferably from the Reid coaching tree, to make a trade between.

Reid drafted Foles and many criticized him for it at the time. He has to feel some type of way Doug is in his second year of coaching the Eagles and won an SB and Reid never did.

Reid has some of the stuff that allowed Pederson to guide this team to the SB victory. Problem is Reid doesn't go for the jugular. The second that man says "(bleep) it" and throws convention out the window, he will win a SB.

He does have an SB ring as a offensive coordinator/QB coach for the Packers oddly enough vs the Patriots where Doug Pederson was Favre's backup.

The announcing was so bad. So so bad. They were so biased. Sounded like a Patriots broadcast.

My point exactly. The kinds of plays and game-planning Reid has pat down. He just needs to be more aggressive and unconventional as a HC. Pederson is basically Reid with a little more gusto.

Well now I'm glad I skipped the SB and just checked the score.

CBS gets the SB next year.

I have to say the Eagles were very fortunate a lot of star players got hurt this year.

I don't think they would've gotten this far if Aaron Rodgers was healthy along with others.

I guess they were a team of destiny.

Philadelphia joins New York, Boston, Chicago and Los Angeles as the only cities with a team to win the World Series, Stanley Cup, Super Bowl and NBA title.

What an entertaining game to watch. If I heard this right on the radio when I was driving home, New England just became only the 23rd team in NFL history to lose a game in which they did not punt.

Foles was nails. And full credit to Doug Pederson for having the stones to keep his foot on the gas pedal. That play call for the TD before halftime was obviously genius, as was the decision to go for it in the first place. And I think a lot of coaches would have punted on 4th and 2 near midfield with 6 minutes to go in the 4th quarter. It was absolutely the right call to go for it, and they reaped the benefits when they converted in that spot.

Really strange that Malcolm Butler was kept on the sidelines on defense. Not that he's necessarily an All-Pro, but the Eagles marched up and down the field all day, Bademosi whiffed on a tackle on a big 3rd down play, and Butler obviously has Super Bowl experience. Just not a good move from Belichick.

And I know they lost, but 40-year-old Tom Brady throwing for over 500 yards in the Super Bowl is just insane. Without Cooks and Edelman, also.

The Packers' defense was garbage this year, though. Yeah, the Packers would have probably made the playoffs, but that D has really fallen off.
