Wait...I thought we couldn't change the pick protection because it affects Orlando? And even if we could, is this saying that we could automatically GIVE them this year's pick, or that we'd automatically KEEP it? |

Ewww wtf. No facking way id remove pick protection for Okafor. This reeks of magic Johnson, magic had loved Okafor for a while now. Okafor is dog crap and if this happens we can expect equally as (bleep) moves as long as magic is around in a decision making capacity

Don't see it happening. It'd look terrible if we end up having a Top 3 pick again in the lottery and I believe Orlando will have to be part of any such trade.

No it's us removing protection, not the 6ers. If it was them removing protection I'd do it in a heart beat. Sadly that's not the reported rumor |

If it went down and we lost top 3 pick that we woulda otherwise got, absolutely. This trade would make zero sense, especially since zubac is already better than Okafor. |

All by itself this doesn't make much sense. Okafor isn't worth Clarkson and removal of pick protection (I value a potential top three pick quite highly). Maybe this is just one piece of a much bigger trade.
