THAT works.

Those sh small letters on the backs of the jerseys would finally pay off.

That and I've been wanting Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot on this team since the draft he was in. If we wind up with Okafor but Mitch ninjas Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot from them and we only lose Clarkson in that exchange, that would work. He's a high defensive upside player we could use.

Forget TLC, we don't want no scrubs. The Lakers should try to get Covington, but that would be like chasing waterfalls.

TLC isn't a scrub. I'd argue, Covington is. I know your gonna have it your way or nothing at all, but I think you're moving too fast.

Have the Pelicans send their 2018 1st (w/ protections) to the Sixers. 2nd rounders are up for debate but shouldn't be deal breakers.

Lakers - Cost of shedding Deng's long-term salary is attaching JC with him. Rodriguez is expiring, Henderson has some kind of partial or non-guarantee next year, but can fill in the Deng leadership role in the meantime (he's from Duke too!). Frazier is an excellent backup PG under contract for next year at $2M. Have been on the TLC bandwagon since the summer. Frees up some cap this summer

Sixers - What looks to be a mid 1st from the Pelicans next year, starting level PG in JC, Deng's contract a little long in the tooth, but they were trying to get some vet help this past summer. They've still got lots of assets, time to build the culture, I say!

Pelicans
- Get their target in Okafor. Not much else to say.

Is there anybody legitimate reporting this information and can confirm the Lakers involvement?

@TheRealEB42

It has been a pleasure working with you my man. Best of luck out there. @JahlilOkafor

Now we wait and see whether it's us.. or the Pelicans. If the Pelicans swooped in at the last moment and are willing to finally give them Jrue Holiday.. that may knock us out of the discussion. We'll have to wait and see at this point, but Okafor is definitely gone from Philly.

If it's us, I really REALLY hope Mitch ninjas Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot from the 76ers in this trade! He's a former Zubac teammate with a high defensive upside.

Apparently it's a fake account

Pelicans sat Moore, Ajinca and Jones last night too. Weren't they rumored w the sixers last week or so?

I hope we don't get Oak. Nothing against the dude but I think Z is a better player especially in the long run

So your saying Okafor, Moore, Ajinca and Jones all got DNP's? Isn't that just a normal night in the NBA?

Sources confirm that Jahlil Okafor was indeed held out of tonight's game due to trade talks. Brett Brown discussed the rumors with Okafor.

I'll take his defense in spite of his jumper that's damn unpretty. We made a deal with Philly already, let's do it again.

He is just now waking up.

Skipping on TLC would make you feel unpretty too.

Covington won't stand his ground. He'll let you down.

Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot defense vs Dunn

6'11 wingspan from the guard position. High defensive upside. Would be worth it imo. Not a scrub in the least and has a lot of defensive potential.

Getting Okafor for Clarkson would be a steal but there's no way that's a credible rumor.

Yeah, I'd rather have DLO face TLC in practice.

Okafor for JC doesn't make sense unless we have another trade in the works involving Mozgov or Black

Can we just get Mr. Clutch McConnell and have crazy DLO/McConnell practices every game? I'm sure there'd be fights.

Any truth or possibility of the Lakers involvement in a trade for Jahlil Okafor?

They have inquired in the last couple of days. I'll let you put two and two together as to what changed for the Lakers.

Keith Smith said that the Okafor tweet attributed to him was fake, too.
Is there anything we can verify regarding Laker involvement at all?
