If they land Fultz, I'd rather they pair him and Russell and go after Noel in free agency (Moz be damned).
Noel/Zu/Black/Moz (doghouse)
Randle/Nance/Robinson
Ingram/Deng
Fultz/JC/Josh Hart (from Lou trade to WSH)
Russell/Shelvin Mack(?)
Then the issue becomes moving MozDeng with an eye toward 2018 free agency. |

I'm certain Deng would perform infinitely better at the 4 than the 3 on both ends of the court. Why shouldn't Clarkson start? He's shown defensive promise. If he improves further on that front and does not have to worry about PT (and, hence boneheaded plays), we may be pleasantly surprised.
My tentative lineup also did not include any potential FA signings. But I like it as a start. |

Kings won't do that. Neither russell nor Randle have proven themselves to be anything special. I know they still have plenty of time to develop, but a team looking to trade their centerpiece will want high lotto picks or guys that flash all star upside on a regular basis. Russell and Randle have looked good here and there, but both of them are wildly inconsistent and extremely prone to bone headed plays. Any cousins trade will 100% require us pick. |

The only guy I throw the house for is AD. Even then, I still want Nance kept and Ingram if possible.

I have the same attachment. If I had to keep 1 player it would be ingram. If I had to keep a second it would be nance because he is probably not going to have the same headline appeal as one of the lotto picks.
And both can be 2 way players which I love about them. |
