Throw blank checks at the top shooting coaches in the league. Clippers and Spurs have them I think.

remove Ingram from all basketball related activities until a legit shooting coach is acquired. Everything he's learned thus far needs to be forgotten, not reinforced.

Love Kobe but he was known for his scoring not his shooting ability. 32% career from 3 is pretty bad.

I thought that's why they hired Theo Robertson.

think this was due to system + shot selection more than anything. I believe during one of the Shaq seasons he averaged 40+% (correct me if I'm wrong). Not saying he was elite as a 3pt shooter, but he was elite as a shotmaker in terms of diversity of shots taken and made

Kobe was a phenomenal shooter. Not sharpshooter level but he took about 5-6 bail out shots a night. The degree of difficulty and skill he had shooting was unreal. 86% fts and daggers in the midrange. I think Kobe could pay huge dividends if he was used as some sort of muse for the kids.

And we stupidly let him go to the Warriors where he makes Curry into now a lock of a hall of famer. Especially after making Clarkson looking like a rising star in his rookie year.

Rather have Magic mentor DLO and Kobe mentor Ingram.

Kobe was an outstanding shooter. Perfect fundamentals. Don't mistake shot selection with shooting ability.

Read up on how he changed Trevor Ariza's shot.

IIRC we made an offer. He just wanted to go to the Warriors. Can't stop a man from doing what he wants.
