I'm not sure if this thread is even allowed on the Lakers lounge but we have Brandon Ingram and D'Angelo Russell representing the Lakers today. How many of you guys are planning on watch it? I want to watch it but I'm kind of expecting DLO and Ingram to do bad because I'm so used to our young core underperforming, still probably end up watching it. Hopefully one of these two wins MVP

Russell had a good showing last year - 22/7 assists off the bench. Just no injuries please

Probably gets the 96/4 treatment. Which is appropriate for this setting.

Here's D'angelo's highlights from last year's Rising Stars (22pts, 7 assists):

Btw, this is the only Youtube video I could find of Harden's rookie year- also scored 22 points in the rookie game:

Aside from Jokic and Porzingis, the World team is really thin. US team is stacked.

Really a shame that Embiid is hurt. That would have been fun.

Same for Simmons, World team would've been absolutely stacked in the frontcourt. US team has really all around talent with Russell, Booker, Turner, and Towns
